1. It is near hedgeville, WV. go to http://www.tomahawkmx.com/ironboss06.htm for the race flyer and to http://www.tomahawkmx.com/ for directions. I just hope my team mate doesnt have to work. I will be running the banshee if i do because the LTR doesnt have the wheels and tires on it yet.
2. Here is my submission for December unless someone gets a great shot of me eating S^% at this weekend's race providing i can find a teammate for the iron boss buddy harescramble. You need to click on image to view full size, i suck at posting pics.
3. Hahahaha i half no room for clubs on my golf cart so i guess i am a cart operator. Man that would be cool if i could use my quad as a golf cart, i could get a full round in, in like half hour.
4. Hahaha yeah that would be just wrong, i would have a guilty conscience even though it looks like my picture needs votes. Thats alright, as soon as i can get my pictures downloaded i have a pretty good shot of me on the new LTR i picked up this weekend. Took me about 10 minutes of riding it before i had it in the air lol. I was trying to bend those stock rims so i can justify buying a set of carbon fiber hiper techs for it.
5. My suggestion would be action shot for the picture of the month. If it is a still of just a quad then that would fall more under quad of the month and not picture of the month. Whatever DeadAim decides i fully support.
6. I agree, it is your forum, I would have no hard feelings if you made the decision and it wasnt me.
7. I realize my first post sounds really dumn now because after picking up my LTR this weekend, I realized that it is fuel injected hahahaha. No rejetting for me. I did read up alittle bit on thumper talk and noticed there are other stuff needed to add a pipe, but after riding it yesterday i am happy with it stock for now.
8. Awesome! Did you get the full FMF exaust system or just the silencer? Did you need to rejet your 4-stroke for the exaust? Did you add a K&N air filter or do you not need to do that also? reason i ask i just bought an new LTR 450 and do not know if you need a air filter and jet kit for an after market exaust.
9. Here is a picture of me at the florence oregon sand dunes screwing the pooch on a 20ft hill i called a jump. This is when i discovered it doesnt hurt as bad crashing in sand. Not usre if this counts since it was 2 years ago
10. If you dont mind driving to MD and VA, i can tell you a couple places. We will be riding Sunday matter of fact near Hancock MD or Breezewood PA. There are a couple places also near my house in Ashburn, VA (right outside WA DC) we ride. One place is Private property at my friends house. He also is looking for input on a good track to build at his house and has the bobcats and machinery to do it.

12. Well, i did another one of them spur of the moment things. I found a dealer in Eastern Ohio selling brand new 2006 Suzuki LTR 450s for $6090 out the door. So after thinking about it for about a whole 6 hours. I called them back and got them my down payment along with a 48 month warrantee for $6700. Now i get to drive 3 and half hours one way to pick it up Saturday. I asked the sales if there was any recalls on this quad and he stated that was only certain LTRs and this one is not one of them. But as long as i dont mack a tree the warrantee will cover everything mechanical. Besides I am always good with maintenance so i dont think I will have any problems. I will still keep the banshee, and will still finish the last few things i want to do also.
13. I asked GPR if they made a adapter plate where the steering stem can bolt onto along with the GPR. Only problem would be ensuring the plated is thin enough for the bolts. On top of that something stainless or billet so it wont rust. My neighbor submitted paperwork to roll design for dealership so i will get the new one at about 50% of cost. So I will just do that I think to ensure everything goes flawless and just sell the old one that is still practically brand new. Thank you for the offer! Tim
14. Hey you all I just thought I would share my nightmare with GPR. 1) It took me 3 months to finally receive after multiple back orders 2) When i received it, the very first sentence in the install instructions was, may need to buy a new steering stem. (Not indicated when buying) Sure enough, my nice chrome Lonestar Racing steering stem only has a spread of 2 and half inches. The GPR requires a 4 inch spread. So after a long discussion by my neighbor (owns a shop i orer parts through) with the distributor, they would not take the $500 GPR back. So now i have to buy a new Roll Design Steering stem just so i can use the GPR. Also anyone with a banshee, there will be a nice lsr steering stem for sale in the next month.
15. Thank you all, I cant wait to finish up here in AZ thrusday so i can fly back to WA DC and ride before i have to leave again. I have been here at Ft Huachuca, AZ since 5 Sep. I hate only being able to look at my toys. But you have to make money to have them.
16. Will do, will be coming through Columbus sometime around Dec 17th with the quad, to have the mechanic shave the heads and install a clutch kit, along with my sleds. You have any sleds? hahaha
17. I am not familiar with Hondas but my banshee had a similar problem and turned out to be the tors, so you may want to check the electrical components.
18. Thank you, it has been a project of mine for about a year now when i got sick of riding a stock quad. Some recommendations that are really not to expensive but will make a big difference are VForce series reeds and find someone to shave the head. My 98 shee had the head shaved....man big difference. Another suggestion that i am going to do is the trinity 2-in-1 carb kit for 460 dollars and through an adjustable stator plate in and advance the timing by 4 or so.. Also you may want to check, but my shee ran alot better when i drilled holes in the airbox lid. Also get an ebrake block off kit and get the thors removal kit (if it still has the thors. I had tons of problems with the thors. But anything you need to do just search posts on bansheehq or make one and all those guys will tell you step by step how to perform the job. BTW there are 4 pics of my shee in my photo gallery!
19. When i go back to MN in Dec I will grab a couple pictures and provide you some feedback from my dad and brother. My brother did own a 2004 400 Sportsman and he said my dad's 400 Can Am out performs it, but I will get more specs on it in December. Tim
20. Dang, nice banshee......you need any information, let me know (I also have a shee). A good place to buy used parts is www.bansheehq.com, I have bought alot of parts from guys on there. tim
