  1. Oh yeah, i also reupholstered my seat and put a new engine gasket in it because it was leaking oil. Got the bike for 500 bucks canadian if anyone is wondering, been running it for a couple years so far just fixing it up as i go.
  2. Already did the rear bearings and replaced what was left (not much!) of the ancient stock muffler (Its a '97 TRX300FW). The old girl also got 4 new tires, a spark plug, her fluids changed and i got her tuned up (will most likely receive a carb kit as well) and the clutch and throttle adjusted. After i overhaul the brakes she should run another 20 years easy...
  3. Machine was never maintained properly before i got it so it needed new axles and i figured i should protect them as they were not cheap. Also needed other new front end parts all around so i built a small press and just did all 4 ball joints and the wheel bearings. Only tie rod ends left and going to swap out the steering column bushing and check that bearing before i can finally put it all back together and align it properly. Handy rig.
  4. Made these myself from old road signs and a few fittings from Canadian Tire...
  5. I use a cheap Magellan rig, does the trick.
  6. Had to learn to drive stick and i figured it would be easier to start off getting the feel for the throttle and cycling through the gears on a TRX300 and then learning the clutch on the truck instead of doing it all at once. I was right. Never had an issue and picked it up quite smoothly (i think i got lucky and the old Chev i was learning on had a good/forgiving clutch).
