  2. sounds like ya got it all covered ..lol.. with the newer fuel and all the extra things they have to do to it to cut down on emissions it will start to go bad in as little as 30 days ... especially in small amounts like in out atv tanks .. I always put a fuel stabilizer in mine so that I don't have to remove and clean/rebuild 2 carbs .. its cheap insurance on a good running quad even after sitting for months at a time ...

  3. WELCOME TO THE CRAZY SITE ..LOL......

when ya go through an look at mechanic questions . look at the date it was posted ..as a lot of the questions are real old ... an no 1 will usually reply an usually that member isint even on any more or just became a member to ask that question.. ...

  4. It's most likely still having some carb/fuel issues from sitting for so long

I would keep running it and use the best fuel u can get at the pump in it

And might also use a little fuel system cleaner additive in your fuel ..

If you still have issues after several tanks of fuel u will prolly need to

Clean the carb out again ... Carbs are hard to clean and get every thing out of

Good luck an hope this helps ..

  5. if you can get to a machine shop and take some of the extra weight off of the flywheel it will lighten the rotating assembly and make it rev faster an increase the power output .. I have built and raced mor 400ex"s that I can count on my fingers an toes .lol.. ill have to go through some of my mod sheets ..an can see if there are any more ..lol.. but the weight removal is a big performance gain..

  6. if your lucky the only thing that gave was the clutch /basket in the clutch system.. if not .. its gonna be a costly repair .. and not something a first time owner would wana get into ... another option would be to buy another running motor from ebay and swap it over .. and eventually swap all your hop up mods ..

  7. It's a common issue with the v-twinn ... But it can be fixed if you know what you

Are doing ... Or if you take it to some one that knows what they are doing...

It's usually a combination of carbs out of sync adjustment ... And a leak in a vacuum

    Line or intake sucking air...

When you had the carbs rebuilt they may of not got the lines on rite or the are not sealing

The carbs also have to be in sync and drawing the same or it will also cause it to pop like that

If it was me I would find a mechanic that knows what they are doing on the v-twinn
