  1. Yep I have one like that. I sweat a lot ...sorry i just do...I cannot wear it in Florida. Its OK up north. However, I have a shoulder holster that is all day confortable and nice when fishing. But in Fla I don't wear enough clothes for the shoulder holster or the belly band.
  2. The fender crack is held by the brace. However, I need to be sure what type of plastic is mine . Then send him some pictures so he can see my crack. The crack is tight and I still ride with it.
  3. I need to weld the plastic fairing mounts. But also I need to paint or refinish the outside surface. In Florida the road sand "sand blasts the lower portions of my fairing. But first thing is get it monted, The front finder is cracked about half way across right at tbe fork mounting cross brace. I was thinking about reinforced epoxy resin on the underside . But Ill check but I am almost positive its ABS.
  4. BTW back in April when gasoline was $365/ gal pressurized nat Gas at the retail pump was $2.25 GGE (Gasoline gallon equivalent.)
  5. Yes, and the In&Out burger has an unpublished menu Try the Animal French Fries. To Die for!
  6. Good Morning Tennessee... New Home of the In-and Out' burgers Corp office...OMG Whenever I was in Cailfornia or Vegas would find an In & Out burger restaurant The Founder (a woman, had to mention that) is moving from California with the corporate office and her family to Tennessee. Wow Maybe we will get an In&Out in Florida.
  7. I treated My 2 x 6 PT trailer boards with used motor oil. Now I cannot find a abrasicve sand type paint that i can use to improve traction when i am loading vehicles on trailer. My sand rail is the worse and wants to spin sidways on the slipery boards. Iguess I could install expanded metal but was hoping for a paint traction surface. Any ideas..
  8. LOve too see pictures of that....WOW
  9. I understand. The ICE, its technology and supply chain is well established. Moreover, the movement towards non petroleum fuels Gas like N Gas, hydrogen may well change. The Hybrid is promising (locomotives have been around a long time). At a recent trade show all of the South Americans and Europeans were into straight Hydrogen fuels for equipment burners and engines. However, you cannot store it easily. There are a lot of N Gas commercial rucks in use now ( I did a thumbnail study on that). Thanks
  10. wow...great pic

  11. HMMM CJ5 Grandpa had a CJ5 with a Buick 225 cu inch (Factory ) motor. It had a fiberglass body he got from Seats and Roebuck. He thinks it was a 1972 CJ5. I believe that the VW opposed 4 cylinder was one of the few Magnesium motors ever mass produced. Don't catch them on fire...LOL
  12. my dads friend owns three Honda dearlerships . He had an old scrambler . But the one i liked was his Kawasakii 700 cc (two cycle ) triple , OMG it was a rocket ship. That Scrambler was tough. My Grandpa had a Jawa 250 cc . dont uou hate that you sold those bikes and cars.
  13. In my bed picture of small arms you can see The Hi Standard .22 w mag derringer. It is actually is very practical. I carry it in a pouch on a strap across my chest when hiking loaded with 22 mag shot shells in it. At 24 inches it throws a 3 inch pattern of shot. That's perfect for pit vipers.
  14. Great inquiry i will follow this. I am looking for another set of rims and tires for non mud back road cruising. I have mud Maxxis. They are really good in W Va deep yellow mud
  15. Buenos dias Tequila, Mexico and beautiful high desert (5,000 Ft AMSL) Fields of Agave plants that feed the distilleries in Tequila. Just north of Guajajara (Mucho Parties) and south of Ixtlan Del Rio lava 6,000 AMSL fields. Friday nights bring back memories of that "OMG she is dancing on the table Tequila."
  16. Moving down the warm Golf stream current from Gander, NF. Good Morning Bermuda! Only 600 miles off the coast of N Carolina. Beautiful pink sand beaches. My hotel was in old part of town. The shower and rest room was down the Hall...That was different. Hotel had cozy bar and restaurant. Men do not have to wear a coat and tie in the restaurants any more... but but jeans and tennis shoes... NO you have to eat at the bar. I don't do Bermuda Chowder either. Shirtless in public except at beaches will get you in trouble. Oh yes there is no fresh water on Bermuda....Cisterns collect rain water. No car rentals ...scoter rentals... but me I taxi... they drive on the wrong side of the road
  17. OOps my Grandpa's friend...The bikes of the 60's -70's Grandpa's era.. transitioned from the Honda dream machines to performance bikes. The Triumph Bonneville, the Kawaski Z 900 and of course the BMW. What a heady time that was. However, pertaining to OIL...I read where the Triumph oil was probably good for about 200 miles before heat broke it down...???
  18. There are two stores if you want to go to pick up guns "orderd". one is OHIO Sandusky area as I recall and another here in Alabama. You must be a member of a shooting club range .
  19. BTW if interested check out the CMP Civilian Marksmanship program ..there are sales going on now for M1's
  20. be carefull cleaning and chasing treads as the debris will be in the cylinder.
  21. my dads friend owns three Honda dearlerships . He had an old scrambler . But the one i liked was his Kawasakii 700 cc (two cycle ) triple , OMG it was a rocket ship. That Scrambler was tough. My Grandpa had a Jawa 250 cc . dont uou hate that you sold those bikes and cars.
  22. Here is my Garand that i am building. The bolt and new barrel were assembled and head spaced set when i got the barrel from the CMP. Still missing some small stock pieces.
  23. I'll look when i am back at my safe. Here is my shot gun collection. the Sam Walto 12 ga auto, above that is my Remingto 12 ga 3.5 inch magnum (Russian Bakai). Stevens 16 ga double and Winchester 1300. But the top gun is my Chinese SKS 7.62 x 39. I replaced the stock with the one shown to have a removable clip instead of the standard stripper clip used with the SKS. Magazine could be 10 rds. NOW...the secret service just released details of the Florida Trump assination attempt. They said that guy had a Chinese SKS...OMG That did not make sense. I mean it's a good shooter short range < 100yards. but if he had the AK version ...30 rd. clip. The Chinese version has a short stock to fit Chinese. BTW The Bakai is sweet and can go from 3 inch down to high brass without a problem. It has an energy absorbing plastic stock.
  24. I was wondering if they used conventional batteries...If so then replacing say 4 FOUR conventional batteries could easily amount to $500 every 3 years (normal battery life ?).
