don't need one with electronic ignition,but i do own one.

I still have the stock shifter and never had an issue with that either,but i also ron synthic oil in it.

I have an 2001 raptor with the orginal trans in it. Never had a problem with it but i still wish it had a newer style trans in it. I also have a 2003 raptor and i like the gearing in that one much better.

i can tell you this.it doesn't sit in the garage looking pretty,i ride the hell out of it in the summer

as of right now it is other than a k&n filter,and the can,i am going to leave it stock,because as soon as i sell my harley,i am going to get a 700 raptor and trick it out....maybe i will post it on here...lol. Then when i get my 700 , i am going to sell my other raptor...

I am new here but what about sport quad of the month utility quad of the month Video or crash video of the month I think having different catigories keeps it fair for everyone,just a suggestion

Hello all I am new to this site,but not new to the atv world. I have been riding for many years. Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I own a 2001 yamaha Raptor and a 2003 yamaha raptor. In the warmer months i ride almost every weekend, and there is a 700 yamaha raptor in my future.
