  3. you can get cable lube ,but if they look that bad i would replace them anyway,better now than having problems out on the trails
  4. yea i did that quadnut and still the same issue,that's why i am going after market

  7. My 2001 660 raptor seems to be having some issues with the rear axle nut. Seems like about every 2 rides the rear axle nuts back off and loosen up.I average about 75 to 100 miles a ride and this is driving me insane. The rear bearings and seals have been replaced and the axle has been upgraded to an 2003 axle because i had a mishap with a tree,kind of jumped in my way...lol So i got pissed off and ordered a mod quad double locker after market axle nut to hopefully cure this issue. I would love to hear any input you guys and gals my have. Is anyone else ever run into this issue,and how did you fix it? ,Thanks a bunch

  11. sounds like good advice ballistik,that's what i would do,but i do agree,the raptor is an excellent choice for a trail bike
  12. if ur parking brake switch is sticking,it can also cause your raptor to back fire and sputter,on will run like crap when you try to ride it

  17. i would use the carb cleaner myself,it will help clean out any gunk and varnish
  18. sound like you float is stuck open,prolly some crap in your needle and seat,and it will not allow the needle to close in the seat,i would take the bowl off the carb and try cleaning out the needle and seat first.......good luck
  19. is your belt just worn out and need to be replaced?,maybe the drive belt is just stretched out and slapping the case under high torque
