  1. it will affect your mixture,and can make it run lean,it needs to be jetted bigger,and the the choke gives it a richer mixture,so i would start by rejetting it

  3. i had a lot of fun restoring the old girl,and she still performs well
  4. i would check your temp sensor that is in the radiator,it may ground itself out if it is bad,causing your temp light to come on

  6. back then i paid 2500.00 out the door,and had to wait for them to put it together,if you are going to jump on a 500,you had better know what the hell you are doing,mine was clocked at 107mph in a quarter mile at a drag strip,so they are not for the weak at heart,or a newer rider
  7. i started out with a 1988 yamaha warrior,bought a brand new 1990 quadzilla 500 in 90,and then i got out of it for a while due to the fact there was no place to ride,and now own two yamaha 660 raptors,and hope to buy a yamaha 700 raptor in the near future

  9. Sup guys,I guess i just wanted to brag a little bit,my 2001 yamaha raptor that i restored last winter made the july 2011 issue of dirt wheels mag.........thought is was kind of kool

  13. looks pretty good dude,i had my exhaust shield powercoated the same color as my frame,really makes it pop
