I have only ridden in the dessert on my quad, but I did some fire roads thru forest in an Odyessy and that was pretty nice! I think I'd like mudding, but so far haven't tried it. My husband swears I'll love riding dunes if we ever make it to Pismo! I like riding because it gives me something to do with my family that isn't indoors, and/or at home!

Does anyone want a sub forum of She Rides! for 18+ subject matter? While I personally don't think we need it, if there is enough interest I'll put it up! This is OUR forum ladies, what would you all like to see here?

Hey Savannah, Great pics of your little boy! My current profile pic is of my daughter last Easter vacation learning to ride her "new" ly replasticed 50 cc Kawasaki quad ! She was 3 years old then. I have pics, but need to load some onto my gallery! My son just turned 9 years old last week. He rides a 90 cc Yamaha, and is just learning to shift.

What does everyone like to wear to ride? Jeans, tennis shoes and a T-shirt? or Full out "riding gear" with boots pants jersey, chest protection, etc.? whatever it is, with a helmet and goggles, I hope. I ALWAYS wear a helmet and goggles, but sometimes I'd just rather be comfortable and put-put around rather than "suit up" and tear off down the trail. How about you?

No, but I go out there for Thanksgiving and Christmas break and Easter week... It gets too hot!

My kids and I always wear our helmets, and we don't do much more than put-put on gravel fire roads... My husband wears his except for loading and unloading from the trailer... I may make him start wearing it for that too, after the last trip when he flipped a quad going down the ramp unloading! I can't tell my kids to do something I won't do... JMHO
