  1. Anyone else?
  2. Hope you guys and gals didn't mind me adding why to this topic. I just wanted your opinions on this. Also like how 08Raptor350 said why he picked the 700 Raptor over a 450. Reason being this could help someone trying to chose a quad.
  3. Like this option.Hope you get it fingered out.
  4. Cobra is a good choice. Ran one on my 230 Shaft Suzuki. Worked better than White Brothers, of coarse this was back in 85.
  5. still happening.
  6. Its got Garrett Indiana on the west side of Montana.
  7. Glad I could help!
  8. Put the stock air filter back in it and see what happens. I'm willing guess the K&N airfilter changes air fuel mixture witch would require rejetting. No problem on the info. Just want to help you if I can.
  9. Tell me what all your quad has. Like auto or 5 speed tranny? What ranges hi or low. Temp out side? I'm still guessing idle is part of the problem. Just need a wee bit more info about your quad. Could be dirty air filter to.
  10. Auto or 5 speed? Choke on? Idle could be to high.
  11. Glad to see you decided to stop doing that crap. Seen that stuff ruin some good people. So good for you TB!
  12. Thats what I like about my Ozark to.
  13. If counts to you, It counts to me.
  14. Watch how hard you play in the mud until you get a clutch kit. We have a yamaha dealer that installs clutch kits for free if you buy tires and rims from them , wether a new quad or used. They swear by them.
  15. The chasis is the same, but the fine tuning is different than the Kodiaks . Sorry , just trying to save you some money down the road. Being a single range not a hi/low range tranny a clutch kit saves wear and tear on the belt. Just telling you what most mud boggers do.Same thing for the Scrambler owners to. Not to mention you won't notice as much of a power loss with a clutch kit going to bigger tires.
  16. You make it sound like a repeated problem.:confused:Sorry just had to raze you a littl' bit.
  17. It's an awsome feeling. Everyone enjoys it so much. Should be going to Kentucky, the last week in july. Should be a blast.
  18. I own an 02 Ozark. I plow snow, haul stuff in rack packs, and figured if I owned a sport quad. I would be crippled or dead ! I bought the Ozark because of price. I had the dream of my family riding together. We now have an 02 Ozark , 07 Recon, and two chinese quads for the kids. Also 6.5 ft by 14 ft long trailer to haul them on.
  19. I don't know the cost. It changes the shift points basically. Makes a belt drive engage sooner and work/ perform better. Gorrilla axles has the best clutch kit, highlifter has a good one to.
  20. Never put one in myself, but have riden belt drives that have a clutch kit. Have been told if you can change a belt , you can put a clutch kit on. It makes one heck of a difference in how they perform.
  21. 25 inchers and a clutch kit. A guy on another forum has done this also. He said a clutch kit is a must.
  22. Who owns a trike and why? MWKE, this ones for you!
  23. Who owns a utility quad and why?
