the can-am and i think we spent so much on the atv it went over wat we paid for it in repairs.... most resent we needed a new starter..... a spring broke in the transmission that allowed it from switching from neutral to gear... the shifter was just flopping around... its just a mess

yea i know wat ur talking about mines not as bad but i had a problem with the starter on my can-am thought it was a loose wire turns out it needs a whole new starter

i own an arcitic cat and a can-am and had nothing but problems with the can-am.... so i just root against can-am

i saw it online it is totally redesigned..... hopefully it will keep them quiet

i had a similar problem that my dealer told me the reason... wen u switch from neutral to high there is a fork that in gauges the gear. if i remember correctly.. and it just might not be in gauging until u hit low... the same problem happened because my rpms were to high so i couldn't get it in gear.... i don't think it is as serious as ur transmission being bad i think it just might need some adjusting..

it does have one belt... did u buy it used or new?... is it hard to switch gears? how long has it been since it since it went to the shop?

i know that their is one belt but that i can answer.... does the belt slip? does it make wierd noises? or does it just power down in high gear wen pulling?

low gear is more torque... but i dont know wat u r asking? wat is it doing wen in high gear

In august 22,23,24 their is a big event being held on 200 acres of land to help stop the few trails we have from being closed, about a 1/2 hour west of albany... Their are all kinds of events from mudbogs to drag races.. All dirt bikes, Trucks, atvs, and utvs are allowed.. You can camp or park your rv.. Take a look on TRAIL Riders EXpo 2008 - TrailRex - 3 Days of Camping and Off-Road Excitement..
