fighting this thing for a month now.No spark at plug. New ignition coil,pick up coil,stator,reg/rectifier,all new wiring.Started it up today rode for an hour shut it off.Tried to start later wont start.pulled plug wire it firing a blue spark while starter button is pressed.Tried new plug no change. It stared a couple times an ran for few seconds then died.Will CDI act this way? The reg/rectifier get pretty hot is this normal?

I am in need of a water pump shaft for a 1996 Kawasaki Bayou 400 KLF400-B4. The part number is 13107-1287. Both the impeller and the water pump shaft are stripped of threads. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. Please email me at [email protected] if you have any leads.

I need to know what the dimensions are on the shorter female yoke. I have 2 of the longer ones,need to machine down one of them. What I need is the distance between the center of the Spider hole to the top or end where the shaft slips in. Part #s 49177-1080 & 49177-1081. If anyone can help I would be most grateful. I took on this frame swap job for My Landlord, and its becoming a nightmare of mis ordered parts. I have access to a Mill & Lathe so I would rather whittle one down than wait for more parts. It appears from the parts diagram that the shorter one has a groove on the outside. Thanks Guys

My machine won't start!! It will "click" when I press the start button, OK, charge the battery! Full charge it still "clicked". OK, load test the battery-failed, buy new battery. Installed new battery--"click":aargh: Checked a couple of fuses-good. Look at wiring diagram and the click I hear seems to be the relay. I "assume" the relay is good since it clicks but then again it could be closing fine but not sending the required voltage to starter. Where to from here. I use this beast to haul a trailer for carrying wood for the coming winter. Any and all advice will be appreciated since I live in a rural area and don't want to trailer the machine to the city.

Bike will start up and run but it has a popping going on with it, sounds like bike is backfiring. Have tore the carb down 2-3 times now and cleaned all jets, when trouble shooting one time I took some starting fluid while bike was running and lightly misted the front boot area where the carb attaches and the rpm's increased.Thanks any help would be appreciated,Edd
