yfzcentral.com and yfztech.com.

i go there for tech advice.

i like the tech knowledge.

i dislike the younger crowd that feels the need to flame peope for asking questions because they think the question is dumb. but the info is is good.

put an age requirement or keep the attitude in check.

1.ATVFan and ATV Connection

2.I use to visit ATV Connection all the time until I found this site. I dont like ATVFan.

3.ATV Connection is a pretty big forum so I could usually find whatever I needed.

4. There are a lot of people on ATV Connection that make stupid posts and are deleted members. I just dont like ATVFan cuz it sucks.

5. ATVFan just needs to be deleted. ATV Connection needs to scan the members better.

I like your ranting...LOL Yeah I agree, needs some regular posters. it'sll come in time. I've seen some big boards out there that have been around for a few years and it took years to get them going. It'll get there!

I am a member of exriders.com it has a bunch of info but as most huge sites, it has the flamin crowd just waitin to post somethin stupid to take up bandwidth. I am a regular at 3wheelerworld.com mainly in the quad section and 3wheeler.org as that is the first atv/atc site I found when I started this venture and the site and people are cool. I like to go to atvconnection.com also because there is a group section and a big oklahoma club has originated there. I don't post there and when I have my questions rarely get answered so I post more at exriders and the post are usually questions regarding my sons lt80.

I think this site is great, it is big and kinda hard to find stuff( i just figured out how to get to the chat room...lol) but I'm sure in time everything will get better and more people will show up/post/etc.....Chris

stick around are the ones that IMO have the same thing in common,Great Members as most that go to this type of forum

for the information without flaming or attitudes.

Desert-Hawk, that's a pretty impressive. So you're a moderator over at ATVFrontier? What do you like about it over there? What do you think so far of QuadCRAZY? Have you had a chance to view the other sections of the community here besides the forum?

I agree about attitudes in other forums. I think we have some great members and some awesome mods. We try to do things around here using member feedback. Thanks for joining this community, looking forward to hearing from you on a regular basis here! Any suggestions always appreciated!

Hi Mr.Admin,

About the ATVF I would say that 98% of the people

that go there are into ATV's & OHV's Sure we have a goofy

area but it's kept Family Friendly to ensure we set a great example for the next generation of up coming riders.

I'm pretty impressed about QUADCRAZY you've done

a fantastic job here,And yes I've poked around the site.

I found out about QUADCRAZY from My Buddy dieselpowered

over on his site ATVwire.com Portal It's refreshing to see sites come together as this world is not that big after all.

I've seen some great replies here and we really appreciate the information. We would also apprecioate any way that you can help spread the word about our community in other communities as long as it is allowed and does not cross any of their guidelines. Maybe drop a line or 2 if you support this community.

Here's a thread on how you can show your support of QuadCRAZY:

Thank you in advance.

Hey all, BruinBeater here.  Just joined up from the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Got a Polaris Sportsman 1000 and a 570 in the garage that don't get ridden quite enough but looking forward to a family trip this fall.
I'm the unofficial mechanic of the extended family.  In the past month or so I've replaced a transmission in a Chevy Silverado, rust repair on a Chevy Malibu, electrical repair on a Subaru Crosstrek, overheating issue solved on a Can Am Commander, and right now I have a pair of Grizzly and a Bruin 350 in the garage.  Both have a no start condition and have been sitting for 2+ years.

Hi Guys, I'm new to this forum.
I have been riding quads for the last 20 years, however my quads are extremely old and outdated, all three are about 20 years old LOL.
I have been looking at upgrading, but need your input.
I've narrowed it down to the Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 S or the Honda FourTrax Foreman 4x4 EPS
      What do you guys think?

I bought this from a buddy to plow snow up in the North Eastern Washington- its been getting oil in the water and I've been changing the oil often and adding collant as necessary-
I've taken the stator cover off and I'm looking at the Oil Seal and water pump seal and they look good- Although I've ordered a factory oil Seal I'm looking at putting it in this afternoon-
I don't have the factory service manual- am I suppose to Add RTV to the Stator cover Gasket? I've seen some folks suggest grease other suggest RTV?

Any suggestions here- I'm trying to reassemble it tonight- I looked at downloading the manual but need to get up to 10 posts firsts it looks like-

I appreciate any suggestions- normally I'm a jeep and honda dirt bike guy- but  I got a good deal on the quad and a plow so I went for it
Its got a bit over 3K and runs pretty good- but I've had her tore apart for 3 weeks to figure out the oil in the coolant issue.

      Hello.
I'm new to the forum, I live in the UK. I have just bought a 1995 Yamaha Moto 4 350.
Generally the condition isn't too bad (I paid very little for it!), it looks quite original and all the plastics are quite good. The bad bits are no brakes, the rear axle bearings are shot and the transmission won't shift through the gears properly.
I'm not planning on a full rebuild but I would like to sort it out a bit. The transmission is my main concern. If anyone has any ideas on what might be the cause I would be grateful. I can explain what's happening in more detail if required.
      Thanks everyone,
      Kester
