Great pics! Looks like the fall is a good time to ride there. We are def going back. We have to finish the place since we didn’t do it all.   I can’t begin to explain how many people were there and they all seem to be responsible people.   We seen that same view of the train in that same spot. Great place to stop and tape it all in. The mud pits and water holes were a blast.

That’s some great stuff @mikeexplorer so you have obviously ridden there. How is it ?  How far is that from where we rode this weekend? (Lost trails)

it looks like a good place to check out.

The pictures of planes 10 and 11 are the Lost Trails park. The other areas I photographed, I did on foot. Most of my abandoned railroad pictures are done by hiking.

Some of the pictures go back to 2004, many years before it became the park.

I have a really old helmet style camera that still works. Remote lens is wired back to the main unit. Main unit also has a lens with a 10x optical zoom.

I still use it since I ski, the main unit that has the battery stays warm inside my jacket. A few videos I made of the park:

This video is their technical (rocky, ungroomed) trails. What is called 20-J,20-I is now called trail 28 and upper half has been groomed out.

First part of trail 10 is now trail 12 and groomed, once you turn on the bridge, it is ungroomed and becomes trail 10 again.

Trail 22 was partially groomed, the large rock area in the washout was plowed, still very technical, but no longer as intense as video shows.

You can cover all the trails in one day

Very cool.  It looks very different in what I’m assuming is the end of the summer ?

I def want to get back and finish the place off.

Yes, June & July almost 6 years ago, that is why some of the trail numbers changed.

Replace all fluids first. Before you start it, make sure it turns freely. Then drain the gas and replace. Next. Put a new plug in it. Anything after that we can help.

Hi, I have been around everything with a motor since I was little, and finally purchased more to get my husband, and kids involved. I have 4 quads I will be searching around for information on. I have two 2002 Suzuki LT80K quads, a 1997 Yamaha Timberwolf 250, and a 1996 Kawasaki Bayou 220. I have had different ones throughout the years, and plan on buying another Yamaha Banshee. I plan on trying to learn more about all of them, so I can customize some of them. I know nothing about them besides how to race them, my dad always took care of the rest, but figured it was time for me to learn.

I am new to this site. I have a 1987 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport I think. Is there a difference between quadsport and quadrunner?

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.

Hello all! I’m new to the 4 wheeler world, but not new to the mechanic world. I was a diesel mechanic for many years and last year got into jet skis. I just bought a 1987 Yamaha moto 4 350 and now learning the ins and outs of 2 stroke engines. Looking forward to learning all the things.
