I know this tooic has been addressed by many, I’ve looked through many forums and pages. I did not find anything like the problem i have.

I have a 2007 Kingquad 450. I have a new fully charged battery. When i turn the key, the dash flashes and seems to struggle before getting fully lite. We can hear a small relay near the computer clicking, i think it is the fuel pump relay. When i turn off the engine kill switch and press the starting button relays click and all the power shuts off, i turn the key off, engine kill switch then start over, power is there. Atv will start with pull start, but not elextricly. if i try to use my winch, all power cuts and engine dies.

Can anyone tell me what it may be? or has anyone fsced an issue like this before?

It really seems to me that you have a poor connection someplace. If the battery is fresh  then your loosing power within the harness. I would go get some dielectric  grease and start taking plugs apart and cleaning. Then add grease to the plug and reconnect. Then go to the starter relay and loosen the main battery cables on both lugs, clean and re tighten. Make sure your battery wires are not broken at the crimped part where the connector is on all ends.  Check the main ground wire. Loosen it up clean and tighten.  Lastly is it’s possible that one of your relays weather it be the main starting relay or the neutral safety relay may be bad. Both are not expensive and easy to change.  But start with your connections first.

I know this is an old post but I had the same problems this week.  All connections and wires looked good so I replaced the ignition switch with a OEM Suzuki one.  Started up and everything works fantastic!  Took 15 minutes to do it.

Hi all.  New to the forum & quads.  Seems like a great place full of info.
I just recently picked up a 2005 Suzuki KingQuad LTA700.  I need a battery.  I've been reading up on conventional vs AGM types.  I have a Royal Distributing and Canadian Tire.  RD has 2 types avail for my year/Model a battery YTX16-BS CRANK $75, and BATTERY YTX20CH-BS YUASA $140.  Neither of these is the type from the manual FTZ16-BS.
from what I can tell... I think the only difference is the capacity with the $75 unit rated at 14 AH/10HR and the $140 unit rated at 18 AH/10HR ... which is the rating in the manual for the FTZ16-BS.  How much does this make a difference for nearly x2 the cost?
And about the models/type numbers.... what is important to know ... they all end in "-BS" but are the other details relevant or just manufacturer naming?

I just bought a 1984 Suzuki LT185 ATV and am looking for the OWNER’S manual. ( not a service manual)
I contacted Suzuki Canada but they have no paper or digital copies in their archives.
Does anyone possibly have a digital copy they’d be willing to share?

      Good day everyone!
I am pretty new to ATV/UTV/Small engine repairs and would like input on your absolute must-have specialty tools for maintenance and repairs. Aside from the obvious wrenches and sockets, what are some more specialty type tools you use for troubleshooting? I don't plan to open a repair shop or anything, I just do this as a hobby. Looking forward to your responses!

I have a 2007 kingquad 450 fuel injection. I try to start it with the hand crank and almost flip over the quad. I have taken the hand crank off and cleaned it but this did not fix the problem. I believe there is a decompression valve that is supposed to engage when pulling it over by hand. How can I check this?
