Mario, PRACTICAL jewelry always wins hands down....tennis bracelet, diamond stud earrings, if you have kids, Mom's ring. Bath and body works stuff, gift card to her favorite pet place since she has so many she obviously loves them, favorite hair salon gift card, and who wouldn't want THEIR husband under the tree with just a bow?? I agree with Jeff!!

Hello folks, my machine wound up with I think water in the tank etc. It runs but speeds up and slows back down randomly. When not running I don't see gas dripping  from the drain nipple on bottom of float bowl and drain screw is closed tight. With normal idle speed I see no leaking. When the idle speed increases quite a bit on it's own, gas appears to start slowly dripping from float bowl drain nipple? I'm wondering if the carb is flooding and the gas is actually coming from higher up and just appears, to be coming out of nipple but, is actually running down the sides of the nipple? I put a kit in the factory Mikuni carb last year after sitting for a while and I think the gas in the jug I used had drawn moisture. I plan to pull the carb tomorrow and clean everything out. I was just curious if anyone else thinks it's probably something in the carb and is, acutally a flooding problem? Thanks Folks! 🙂

      Hello All
I have a 1987 Suzuki dual range 230 and a 96 bayou 220. I'm trying to figure what oil to use. I normally put Amzoil synthetic in most everything. But I understand there are concerns over the wet clutch. I've heard rotella 10w40 full synthetic,5w40 synthetic,10w30&40 non synthetic. I do live in Michigan, so temps cold and hot are encountered. It could be below zero or 90 degrees farenhight. I don't have manuals for them. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have an old quad with a 110cc Loncin engine, with Forward/Reverse gears.
Problem is that it runs rough and it blows some smoke also (it's noticeable but not bellowing smoke). It has spark and 150 PSI compression. I've stripped/cleaned the carbie since the spark plug was building up black carbon deposits quickly.
I am assuming since it has 150psi the timing/etc must be OK. Should I assume that??
Should I buy another carbie to eliminate carbie problem?? When I push the accelerator the revs increase, but the roughness is still present. To me, if it was a 4 cylinder engine I would say 1 of the cylinders was not firing.
Another symptom: it was running, I stopped it. It wouldn't start. No spark. Had to clean the plug to get spark again.
      Thanks

Just picked up a 1998 bayou 300 4x4, runs but spits and sputters. runs worse when i put on the air filter. guy said it has a brand new carb. Does adjusting the valves help with the cold start and not run right until it warms up?
