hangingon 13 Posted April 28, 2012 Glad your ok! We never know when things like this could happen. I have found myself hauling butt and come up on a tree that has fallen across the trail. My neighbor got hurt pretty bad from a tree branch hanging down to low it caught him across the neck comming off a jump. Quote Link to comment

wylde1 53 Posted June 5, 2012 I took a tree branch to the neck once. As soon as I got home I ordered the race collar I use. It helps protect my neck from anything like that and also will help if I crash. I noticed it holds my helmet steady while riding and my neck doesn't get sore anymore also. Quote Link to comment

Brandon Johnson 0 Posted June 10, 2019 Dude you're lucky. I had a friend who did the same thing but got a rusty barb stuck in his neck. Quote Link to comment
Azrial 1 Posted July 22, 2019 That is quite a "near death" experience! I am glad to see that you survived. My friend died that way from a cloths line while ridding his dirtbike. Quote Link to comment
