  4. I looked up the owners manual online for your quad , but I found no mention of an accessory socket in it. If it does have one it would likely be fused for between 10 and 15 amps. You could splice your new one into the wires to that socket to give you a second accessory socket and USB . That would give you the two sockets with a combined amp capacity of whatever the original is fused for. If there is no accessory socket at all I would suggest wiring one in direct to the battery , using14 gauge wire and a 10 or 15 amp inline fuse. To make it switchable on and off is a little more complicated . You would have to install a relay capable of handling the 15 amp draw and have it switched by the ignition switch. Depending on what you want the auxilliary socket for , I would suggest just wiring in a socket and fuse direct to the battery. That is the simplest installation. You can get adapters to give you a socket and USB port that would plug into your installed socket, and you could remove it when the USB is not needed , or if you want it mainly for the USB, then just get a USB adapter that plugs into the socket that you can remove when the quad is shut down.. Many of the USB adapters draw a very small current when plugged in even when no accessory is drawing power from them so over a period of a few days inactivity you could see one flatten the battery.

  5. You would want to replace it by finding exactly what that hose part # is on a parts diagram. fuel leaks are not safe. What kind of ATV is this?

  6. I added your ATV info into your topic title and moving to suzuki forum. So it rides fine for 5 or 10 minutes but then dies out? When it dies out if you spray some gas or starting fluid into the intake, will it stay running?

  7. Welcome to QUADCRAZY! You would need to find a power source by the fuse box more than likely that goes off with key. I don't know if there is something available factory wise already for an accessory install. Maybe the manual would tell you. Here's an install video on a Honda TRX300 to get an idea.

  8. Thanks @Muleman for the feedback, it's good to hear when someone recommends a good site for atv parts because there are so many out there, and some are shady. babbits has been aroudn a long time and i also would recommend rockymountainatv, motosport, and bikebandit. I always check the part number with amazon to see if its available there as well.

  11. In 1974 I was a Honda factory mechanic, but holy crap has everything changed, I Would rather work on my 1956 John Deere crawler than these new quads. What's up with 40 min to remove fenders just to test parts? That's pissin me off!

  12. Plug kit and compressor here too. Along with a multi-driver screw drive, spark plug wrench, pliers, A home made set of ATV jumper cables, and a small set of common combination wrenches. I also have a tow strap and 12v to 5v USB plug and USB A to mini and micro USB cables to charge cell phones and accessories, and finally, a small LED flashlight. It sounds like a lot when listed but all those fit in the built in storage compartment in the rear. I also have a compact shovel and hatchet strapped to the front rack. I have a cheap saddle bag that fits over the gas tank to carry gloves, clear and sun glasses. I added two accessory sockets to my quad, one front and one rear to power my GPS and any other 12v accessory I might have with me on any outing. That is the basic, always on the quad, set up. Anything else I carry depends on the outing.
