yep battery plug and stator ok wasn't aware regulator could effect spark but its cheap enough to change any way will let you know thanks for help

That with a fresh plug also ? Only other thing I can think of would be the regulator. The stator is putting out proper voltage ? Battery is putting out proper voltage ?
