Yeah, I hit neutral some times. That's because of my shifter placement. No funny smells. How's your clutch cable. My friend actually had his set to tight one time and it caused the clutch to be engaged. Not enough to notice when riding but enough to burn his clutch up.

I didn't mean tank in a bad way. The 400EX is a great machine. I meant tank like it would take a ballistic missle to stop one. They are based off the XR400. The unstoppable bike.

I'm thinking clutch, what on earth did you do? I've run mine hard for over a year and not a single problem.

Yeah, I never really noticed any hesitation until I drove one with EFI. HUGE difference. Even how smooth it takes off.

It wasn't bad at all up there. Shorts and a sweat shirt and it was comfortable. It was 100 degrees in denver. The mountains were nice. Yeah that was snow. At 13,000 feet snow stays there year round.

Are you asking what kind of quad you should get? If so, go find a nice 400 some where. The EX is a tank and the Z is practically race worthy.

The 700 was soaking up some good size bumps at about 25MPH like it was nothing. The 06 would buck alot.

Today we took the new Rhino to a nice easy trail called Rollins Pass East. Rollins Pass is one of the old routes from the mining days. It is a very easy but scenic ride. Good place to break in the new motor. At the summit there is a tunnel called Needles Eye. You can't go through it for safety reasons. The other side of the tunnel is Rollins Pass West. Completely different trail heads. Here is a few pics from today. These are the new Rhino at one of our resting spots. This is a pic of Emerald Lake. An alpine lake at about 12,000 feet above sea level. One of the many shelf roads. You MUST keep your eyes on the road. This is what happens if you don't.

We sold the yellow kit with the other ride. It will stay black for a while. It's Kristin's ride, so... If she wants it yellow again we will buy another kit.

Look into finding a company that revalves stock shocks. Save alot of money and get better than stock. A big guy probably just wore it out.
