Wheeler, I haven't done it. I looked at my lid and it makes PERFECT sense. I'm gonna wait and see what my guy will charge me to rejet. I don't like touching carbs. Scott, I never even thought about that. I bet if you made 3 layers, spray some foam filter oil on the middle one and stretch all 3 across the air box with no lid. That would be a great pre-filter.

It sounds like you're not cleaning the metal up enough before you try to weld it. Are you just going over the same bead everytime?

For you tube it works if you copy the URL code and then pick the icon at the top of the message board that has the mountains and moon. Paste it in there you are set. I can't get the ones from here to work.

We all need to come together and Boycott Cabela's. Do you love Tellico? Apparently Cabelas does not, or any other 4x4/ATV trail for that matter! E-mail them and tell them what you think! This was sent to me today: The following was emailed to Cabela's Customer Service this AM. Urge everyone to do same. Check the TU corporate sponsorhip site and hit every one on the list. I have been a longtime customer of Cabela's. My vehicle right now has Cabela's seat covers on it, proudly proclaiming the Cabela's name. Now I discover that Cabela's is supporting Trout Unlimited as a corporate sponsor (according to the TU website). TU is trying to sue the USFS into closing the OHV trails at Tellico, in the Nantahala National Forest. Cabela's needs to tell TU that unless it drops its support for trying to close me out of my own National Forest, the 4X4 and ATV community will begin its boycott of Cabelas. From this point forward, my Cabela's seat covers in my truck will have the Cabela's name removed, and I will not purchase anything else from Cabela's until they publicly denounce the actions of Trout Unlimited. The only thing these Philadelphia lawyers understand is $$. So lets start putting it in terms of $$ for them. Someone needs to stir this on the ATV sites - Cabela's sells LOTS of ATV stuff. When you have a good 2-3 weeks off of racing you should put a good 3-4 maybe even 5 coats of clear coat on it. Maybe you could get away with 2 or 3 races before repainting.

They are OHV trails. Off Highway Vehicles, if it fits go for it. Some trails are marked 50" or less. That's for ATV's and bikes only. That is my favorite riding place, Four Mile South. I had the Rhino doing 42MPH through there.(stock speed limiter) So you can only imagine what a quad can do. Plus lots of side trails that are a bit more rocky and add some technical stuff. You can't get lost, all the side trails just loop back to the main trail. The main trail is in a canyon, so one way or the other.

What size are your wheels? I used motosport and you punch in what quad you have and it shows stuff that fits. When I enter the 08 TRX450 it shows 10x5 for the front and 10x8 for the back. That doesn't seem right.
