  1. If it is unbarable go back to the doc. If it feels just real achy that is normal when you tear a ligament. When it gets soar just use some ice and advil. You can also try apply a small heat pak about 20-30 min before you ride. Also some ice after you are done riding.
  2. That was my first thinking, clean your carb. It has been sitting for a while and a bunch of gunk has settled to the bottom of the tank. Since you left the gas open it worked it's way to the carb,(in theory)
  3. Is there a change in the weather right now or is it going to rain in the next day or 2? When you have an injury like that you will never be the same. You will feel different levels of pain at different times. Did you go to any kind of rehab for it?
  4. You would kill yourself on the 500. That thing can and will stand up in ANY gear.
  5. Maybe we can work something out! I would probably keep the TRX for a buddy bike. Some one comes along and they don't have a toy.
  6. Like I said, I'm a city boy. Any animal that could ruin me if it wanted I keep my distance.
  7. I still remember being5,6,7 years old on that beast with no front suspension and the GIANT bubble tires. I think the trikes you have posted pics of are sweet. I think that some of those old trikes look way better than the modern quads. Perfect examplem Dune Raider is one of the sickest rides I've ever seen although I do love the old red white and blue hondas. Or the old tecate.
  8. So we went out riding yesterday and on the last stretch back to the truck our trail was rudely blocked. I never thought I would be intimadated by a cow. There was a good number of them and they had a bunch of babies too. All the big ones started forming a line in front of the babies and slowly moving towards us. I'm a city boy, I don't do cows. I'm not like a cow whisperer or anything but they looked pissed. As soon as I saw an opening I gunned it. They went nuts and started jumping and running. That was a little ego check, being punked out by a cow.
  9. Not at all, that is one of the best things about a straight axle on sand. Just lean and that back end will float across the sand.
  10. I for one don't let that 4th wheel fool me. I was alway taught to over exagerate my lean through turns. I learned to ride on an old ATC110.
  11. Now that thing is F'N sweet. I think you just brought a tear to my eye.
  12. She's still sleeping but I wills how her these pics. AWSOME
  13. Honda was the first to say tha the sand is out of the XX's element. It really shines in rough trails and of course baja. The way they had to set them up for California emissions really sucked all the power. Honda says with a simple change of the fuel programmer it is ready to rip. Just not in the sand. Why would you want IRS for sand on any machine?
  14. Sweet pic! What is it about the trikes that draw you to them? I understand that's what you grew up on but what about them. I like the looks of the sporty racing trikes. That right there is enough to draw my eyes. There is nothing like the the old Honda 250 with the crazy wide axle. It looks sick. I would kill myself on a trike.
  15. Some good info, I can't imagine running 10psi on my sport quad.
  16. She won't come back. She posted the same thing on other sites.
  17. MWKE is right, if you crash and bust plastics all up. That's not covered. If something breaks off and they can find a way to blame it on you they will.
  18. Once I get the TRX paid off there WILL be a KTM525 in my arsenol!
  19. He rides a SunL. It's an off brand
  20. looks good. Be safe! These things are wheelie machines.
  21. Congrats on the new ride. Post some pics.
  22. Got some great shots there. Can't wait to ride with you!
  23. That's one down side to the off brand quads, little things here and there.
  24. I would take it to the dealer before you just start replacing parts. That can get expensive especially if you don't get it first shot.
