The 400ex is the baby sister of the old 250R. The one I'm speaking of is a 4 wheel version the CRF250. Not the entry level shaft driven machine they have now. This is a 30HP race machine. Adjustable shocks all around, liquid cooled. Pure sport!

I've had some good ones! I cart wheeled on an IT465 at about 65mph. We were in mexico riding the Baja race course, crossing the dry lake beds and I found the only pot hole in the whole place. Was very dusty never saw it. No injuries other than the ego.

Yeah, it did a little bit. Back to the 250R, I just read that the main thing holding Honda back from releasing the 250 is cost. The 250 has generally been an entry level quad, kid friendly(against man. recommendation) and cheap in cost. They would have to sell this one around the cost of the 400ex. I think it would beat a 400ex.

So earlier in this thread we were talking about the XR650 motor in a quad. It was "MW Racing" out of Europe that put the XR650 in a quad. They used a Cannondale chassis. Then they bumped the bore up to a 685. They made this back in 2006. After a year and a half of hard racing it is still pushing out an amazing 75 horseys! Now that's bad a$$. I also previously stated that they made this quad for the Baja 1000. I was wrong, they use it in Supermoto. This is not the same one, this is a XR650 in a 400ex frame. ATV Connection Member Gallery

Hey one of our cats needs some dental work...Hook it up! I drive a 26' flat bed truck for a flooring company that likes to put WAY too much weight on it. It pay the bills. I really like driving but I think I need to find a company that cares about my safety.

I was riding at full speed and went out of my way to hit a wake so I could jump. It was a sit down ski. Because I hit the wake at wierd angle, the ski turned 90 degrees in the air. I landed sideways, went from about 50mph to zero in about a tenth of a second. It launched me and I tweeked my leg in such a wierd way that it snapped about 2 inches above my knee. Now I got some titanium in me!

That's a great idea, unfortunetly I will be at work. I don't have the luxury of being on the computer at work. The state patrol seems to frown on people who drive a VERY LARGE truck with a laptop on their lap.
