As long as it wasn't oil burning.Is it liquid cooled? I've had water sitting on my quad steam up through the bars also. Mine was do to water from a puddle dripping onto my radiator.

I can't renmember which magazine I saw it in, but Honda has made a prototype TRX250Or they might call it the TRX250XX so they are not using the name of the old 250R. Anyways, this was a quad designed like the 450R. It has upgraded Showa shocks, liquid cooled and everything else like the 450R. They took a CRF250 motor and applied it. Here is the kicker, not only would they be the only company with a race worthy 250 they claim that they lost no power transfer. It puts out 28-32HP. That is the same as the CRF2250. If they can actually complete this, wow! The TRX450 puts out 32-35HP stock. That is impressive for a 250.

I don't know if you are mechanically inclined, but you can always buy like a FMF pipe. Some of there pipes do not have specific mounting brackets. They are a collar that you place around the canister where you need it. Then you can line up the mounting brackets on the quad with the ones on the collar. Then you would need to find a mid pipe to meet up with your header. Anything is possible.

I don't think it will be the spark plug. The motor is not turning at all correct? It would have to be something in the starter or a relay somewhere.

You could always get a voltage meter and start at the battery and work your way through the electrical system and see where it stops. Time consuming but it will pin point your problem.

I have no personal exp. with them but everything I have heard is great. I do know that they are a very solid machine, and they are towards the top of the food chain in 4x4 racing. If there is a Gander Mountain anywhere they sell and service them.

That's old man Randy! This was his first time on a dirt bike. He borrowed a XR200. He had one crash and broke both hand guards! He was ok so it made it funny!

Here are more pics from our weekend! This is our group that went this time. Several people had to back out at last minute. That's the Colorado River Behind us. All of our toys at the bottom of Mcminnis Canyon! Me posing for a pic. You can see behind me all the twist and turns in the trails. The only bit of sand dunes in the whole area, It was ALOT steeper than it looks. My dad's bike leaning against a fence. Me showing off! Me catching a little air. Me and my Dirty Girl! Ain't she Beautiful all covered in dirt. We managed to find the only turn that the Rhino couldn't make. A very tight turn between 2 rocks on a crazy off camber trail. And finally my wonderful parents!

That's how the riders are here in Colorado. I don't know how many CO2 canisters I've used on other peoples bikes. Have given cans of fix a flat out. Bottles of water, what ever they may need. I have only come across one prick on the trails. A guy ran me off the trail into a tree. My dad caught up to him and put a whooping on that guy like you wouldn't believe. My dad threw him on the ground by the face mask of his helmet. Just swung him around, didn't hit him but the full grown man said he was sorry with tears rolling down his face. He was SCARED.

Point proven. I never have nor has anyone I ride with ever put down a female for trying to ride. Wheeler, this is your quote. So which is it, do they treat you bad cuz you're a girl or do they give you extra help cuz you're a girl? I really don't see any guy out there giving a girl crap because she rides or races.
