  1. Now there's an idea. When I get to the King Quad I'll be doing a lot of plastic welding so shiny is way out of the park.
  2. Ha you'd probably hate to see mine before. Bit yeah they'd mark up a paved drive pretty good I'd bet.
  3. Here in our West Virginia mountains every farmer has some extra old sets laying around and I bet they'd sell you a couple you can could whack up to use on your quad. Or make your own.
  4. These chains look way useful for anyone doing ❄️ snow work.
  5. Well happy Saturday. It's a gorgeous sunny °5 kinda morning.
  6. Thanks for the clarification. I'd really like an answer to the second question.
  7. I remember my dad bragging about having ordered a cdi unit on his new 63 Catalina. The first year GM offered it. He explained how it took the load off the points and extended their life. I was all of seven. I can still see him pointing the box on the firewall out. Been a gear head all my life.
  8. I was to old and broke up for the dirtsters but wanted to play on the trails.
  9. Just curious, if the color coat is bonding to the primer why use the fusion? And how does the paint hold up over time? I've not seen anybody say how their paint jobs looked after a year.
  10. An epic ride indeed. I go through a cord plus a month. My stove is voracious, the house is over a hundred years old and a bit not airtight. 😀
  11. Thanks for the info. There's a couple of big auctions he hits I bet. Dealer and insurance company stuff. I have a buddy that flips stuff from a big Harley auction.
  12. Ride on over and help me drag a big a.. Locust tree down the hill. Running out of firewood.
  13. If you mean neglected and abused then yup. 😀 I'm thrilled to have those plastics. The King Quads are totally trashed.
  14. Nice! It'd be cool if you come back in a year and let us know how it held up.
  15. Good morning from my wild and wonderful front yard, y'all.
  16. I've used the chinameese carbs on small engines around the farm here with good results. On the more complex cv carbs seems hit or miss. I hope you're in the hit side of things.I'd personally rather rebuild the oem unit.
  17. I have two friends that found lift tables in some manufacturing plant being demolished. Man they are the bomb. Rated for like a million pounds and electric over hydraulic. They raise high enough to bring a Harley almost chest high. They've added casters to roll them around brackets to grab the forks, man they are sweet.
  18. Good bit of work there. At 66 I'm still trying to learn. I may have found your carb. .
  19. Yeah I've wanted one for years. My problem has been lack of floor space. That's why I like his backyard mod so much.
