  1. Indeed and I've a wood stove to install. Yahoo!!!! We are starting to get an occasional warm day. I'm ready to get 4wheeling, cant convince the lawnmower to get the job done. Its stuck in a little bit of snow. Jeez
  2. Thanks for the info. I saw that you had mentioned them but my old man brain thought you were going to repurpose a dirt bike part somehow. I can't wait to start on my pile but have been trying to get a barn turned into an actual workshop.
  3. Or possibly a stamped ring epoxied in? Much better design whichever. Frank where did you source this if you don't mind my asking? With the milage on my pile I may need one.
  4. Wow looks like the Dr. nailed it Frank. Makes those gaps pretty suspicious.
  5. Haven't been here for a while and just knew I was going to see the solution. You've got the big daddy of gremlins there Frank. You're not going to like me anymore but I think something might be plugged up in the high speed circuit in the carbulator. If no joy from the electrical components you're waiting to swap pull it again. Dang I feel your pain.
  6. Crazy man. Curiouser and curiouser.
  7. Frank looked my cdi up in the manual. Doesn't look doable.
  8. Sorry we had a lazy snowy day on the farm, just saw your reply Frank. I've read that the regulator could be the culprit with your symptoms. Output above 15.5 v can cause the cdi to loose it. I've just about got the front fender off the lowest millage machine. Shouldn't be much to get the piece out for you. Unfortunately I'd not be able to say it's for sure good.
  9. I'll send you one of my cdi units to try if you like. Don't know if the KQ 300 is useful or not.
  10. Carbon arcing with the spark plug maybe. KFZ has to have hit one of em. Checked rectifier output?
  11. I bet it's the sparkulator in confabulation with thethingamabobber.
  12. I love these rolls of emory cloth too. Work well on the round tube sections if like me you just want corrosion control and paint. The first quad I rebuilt got taken completely apart and sandblasted. Once was enough:]. Sure was a nice Bayou 300 2wd when I sold it. Way to much fun bringing these back.
  13. Got a chance to tinker with the pile. Started pulling bodies. Movement yea!
  14. Nice find. A buddy bought an Cub Cadet not running. Looked brand new guy said starter and flywheel was shot. Maybe the broken con rod had something to do with that. People...
  15. What a great find. Good luck with the remaining issues. I'm thinking it may have been a flood victim, stolen rides usually get trashed before recovery.
  16. Wow that looks like major fun!!! We don't get the snow like y'all but we get a bit. And the terrain can be a bit challenging. Maybe someday I'll have a chance at some tracks.
  17. That's a big old Russian Belarus tractor here on our farm. 4wd diesel. Not much in the way of comfort or user friendly but literally built like a tank
  18. I bet. The neighbor's have one on tracks as well I've seen them climbing up the pasture with it goes great.
  19. Frank what paint did you use on the racks?
  20. That thing even has electric windows.
  21. Wow! Brand spanking new.
  22. Had a little job at the neighbor's farm. I do odd things for him and maintenance on his machinery. He has some nice tools. Trying to get a front bucket for the Belarus here then I can move things around and power wash my pieces.
  23. Did a quick search for oil injection settings. First page days there is no adjustment. Here's the second page I saw. Hopefully this will help. https://atvconnection.com/forums/kids-quads/262150-lt80-oil-injection-question.html
  24. Allen screws please. Figure I'll go with the Shindy kit to start. Maybe this summer I'll see about the Sigma kit and a cam.
