  1. I would have to say the best way to Restore your Plastic is to Sand it down and use the plastic Renew.....I have know a lot of people that have used the paint and it ALL looks Like Crap after a Few rides....
  2. What Ive found that works best is WOT 4th or 5th gear....Like Skipping a rock...but once you loose your Rhythm.....:YOUR F'ed:biglaugh:
  3. Holly Crap.....!!!! These guys on here Ride Quads???? I thought this was a Trike Site:cry: I know a Few people that live down in your Area....One of them is Vegas250R...I think that is the name he uses on this site.....I believe they will be attending a BIG ride this weekend at Razor Road though....Maybe you can hook up with him and head down there??? Lots of Good people attending that ride....You would have fun,,,,But be the only Quad in the Bunch:laugh:

Just got back from Winchester Bay about a Month ago....Heading up to Diamond Lake at the end of this month to ride in the Snow with the Sand Wizards Racing Group then back up again(probably Winchester again) for the Dune Clean up in April,,,,then again in June and Sept....LMAO!!!! 5. Happy New Yr. to all!!! May all you Freaking Mud Riders Find SAND in your Lives this yr!!!!
  6. Welcome!!!! There are Several AZ riders on here.....just HUNT THEM DOWN!!!! And if you really want to go HARD CORE.....Invest in a HARD TAIL.....Trike/ATC/3 wheeler....Then Graduate to a Fully Suspended one.....They wont give you that False sense of Security as a Quad and the KEWL Factor is off the Scale:smile: Or you can Wimp out like the rest of these Golf Cart Riders and take on the Burden of that Extra Weight and Wheel.. Seriously......I would invest in a USED Whatever,,,,,That way you will not be out TONS of Duckets when you and your family decide its not what you thought it would be...If you have Friends that are Serious about ATVing and know Mechanics,,,Maybe you can take them with you when you look at used....There are a few things that a Trained (in the know) Atver can see that the Newbie cant and it WILL save Potentially Hundreds of Dollars if not a 1K... Just my Opinion.....
  7. Here you go.....Last yrs Trike Rampage..I think there were 64 bikes on the sand.....Some left back at camp and 3 times the people....

  13. I just Read your Profile and someone Commented on Haspin Acres.....I take it you know the Place???? Why not make plans now for Fathers Day weekend.....There will be about 100 Trikes out there on the Drag Strip Waitin for ya....COME GET SOME!!!
  14. Is it Stock out of the Box???? Without any info on your Machine....Here is what I would do First......Weight=Power Loss........Personally I would Cut one Wheel off the Front and go from there.... That should save you about 80 LBS..... Your bike Dry is 395....For Giggles I figure the Weight of you and your machine WET is 500 Pounds.... Which is on the light side.....I also figure your bike is putting out around 20 HP.... Your Power:Weight Ratio is 1 : 25 This means that for every 25 pounds of weight on your vehicle, you have 1 horsepower. So for every 25 pounds of weight you remove from your vehicle, you will feel the effects of an additional 1 horsepower, although your actual peak horsepower will not change. Keep in mind that with every pound you take off, your power to weight ratio changes, so you will have to re-calculate each time you remove weight. In my HUMBLE opinion......The bike isnt Worth the money to upgrade....Its a Beginners Ride(Nothing wrong with that!!!) The best money you can spend for an upgrade would be when you get better at Riding it ,,,, Move on to a bigger Quad....

  19. Hmmmmm,,,,,, RICHER and LEANER. I know these terms can cause some trouble for those who are new to the sport or new to carburetor tuning and they are often used incorrectly. The terms RICHER and LEANER refer to the amount of GASOLINE being delivered to the engine and not the amount of oil. If you’ve done a plug reading at wide open throttle and the plug indicates you are running rich ( dark brown to black ) this is an indication that too much gas is being delivered to the engine and not too much oil. I know there are people that will say "You’re running too rich, try to change your premix ration from 42 parts gas: 1 part oil ( 42:1 ) to 50 parts gas : 1 part oil, that should lean things out a little ". This is in fact increasing the amount of gasoline ( 8 more parts of gas for each part of oil ) and causing the engine to run RICHER rather than leaner. If you remember richer and leaner are referring to the amount of gasoline being delivered this will all make much more sense. A Plug Chop is the First step in Dialing in your Ride. With proper Jetting, Proper Needle Clip Position, and a properly Set Float.....You can Dial in and run 50:1 without ANY PROBLEMS! Mines been running for 22 yrs With 2 top end rebuilds and 1 Crank Bearing Replacement... However,,,,I dont Recommend anyone doing that unless they know what they are doing...
