  4. Wish I was! It is cold and rainy here. Also shotgun season for deer. Not really a sake time to be riding during the daylight time.
  5. I hope everyone has an awsome Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. The Ozark and Recon pretty much are evenly matched in Horsepower and torque. The Recon turns tighter and is a lot less tippier than the Ozark. The Recon has more room for the rider than the Ozark. The Recon is very cold blooded machine to start. The Ozark is not to bad for cooler to cold weather starting. The Ozark handles my 910 lbs yard roller better than the Recon. I would highly recomend either machine to anyone considering either of these machines. The only reason I would buy a Recon over the Ozark , is because my Suzuki dealer SUCKS!
  7. She flat out loves it!  Best money I have spent , in a long time!

  9. It is a true Japan pick-up. Suzuki and several other Japan manufacters produce these trucks in Japan. Do a Google word search on "Mini Trucks" for somemore info.

  12. If it makes you feel better my wife just joined the ranks of female quad rider. 4 weaks on a loaner and about 5 weeks on her very own Recon. Only took 5 years to talk her into it, but was well worth the wait. Now I'm working on the forum thing for her.
  13. How about buying her a minitruck? That way she can also carry around one extra toy for ya.

  18. I bought the wife a 07 250 Recon ES this past friday. I highly recomend it if interested in one. I will give more details and compare it to my 02 Ozark as we ride some more.
  19. I have not riden a 2 stoke since 87. A friend had a 250 QuadRacer. WOW that was a blast. If you ever get a chance to ride a 2 stroke , do so! I think the reason they did not try to keep the 2 strokes is because they are to worried about utility sales and not enough about sport quads. Personally I think there should be a quad for everyones needs and what they want. 2 strokes are pushed aside like 5 speeds will be for utility quads. I do not ride sport quads anymore , but the 2 strokes are a rush!! Long live the 2 strokes you guys and gals out there own or own down the road.
  20. I've seen alot of them in the 21 years I worked part time for dad, but I also saw people do things and never have a problem. Also watched people just look at stuff and it would just break.
  21. The local radiator shop averages about 120 radiator repairs a year, because of the blow out method. When you blow it out it is like sandblasting, you have a better chance of cutting a core . But with water the dirt will go with the flow and not cut in. Also water house is more of a commom house hold tool than air.
  22. If you have liquid cooled or an oil cooled atv, here is a easy tip about cleaning the out side of the radiator or oil cooler.Especially if you have a fan on it. Take the nozzle off you garden hose and spray the radiator or oil cooler from the back side. Opposite direction of air flow.I was talking to a Honda mechanic about 5 years ago, they were having to replace Ruby trannys because of mud and dust plugging the fins of the radiator. I told them about how my dad cleans the radiator on vehicles. To make a long story short they told a guy who was on his 3rd tranny about that. He rod in nothing but mud. He tried this method and it works really good. I also found out it helped my friend with his Polaris's over heating problem. Dust was plugging it up. Hope this helps someone out there. We spend are had earned money on our toys. Hope this helps make someones quad last longer. Hope everyone has a great weekend and gets some riding time in!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. I had not planned on carrying this topic any farther. You did not waste your time every opinion should have a value wether anyone agrees or not. As long as people keep buying atvs and riding them that is all that counts.I will not post on this topic again.
