2007 Yamaha 350 Raptor dies when you give it Gas

Check the float adjustment and vent tubes on the carb. I too think the problem could be lack of fuel. If the jets were clogged, then the rest of the carb probably needs to be cleaned too. Take it completely apart and clean everything. There is a rubber diaphragm in the side of the carb too, make sure it is not torn, and be careful when cleaning it. As far as the clutch switch goes, I have heard alot of things about these machines as far as faulty switches causing wierd problems, so it is worth looking into.

Most likely the carb, it may have got a tiny particle of dirt in it when you changed the jet just take it apart and spray it down with WD40 if you have never taken a carb aparts its a lot easier than you think you can do it, if its not that then its something in the fuel lines, i have had this problem on many of my bikes, its almost always dirt carb, on my raptor it had to do with the on/off valve i had to get a new one some stupid design thing but good luck

I've had an issue with my 2003 Yamaha Warrior after i rolled it, it would start up and idle all day no problems, but when you give it gas it sounds like it wants to die. The parking brake switch had become shorted out. Had to replace it. But it does sound like an accelerator plunger (if its equiped like my Mikuni 36mm) or jets. Blow air through all of your jets, if you don't have compressed air, I used brake cleaner on everything in my carburetor and watched for it to squirt out the other side.

I forgot to mention, I soaked my carb in carb dip/chem dip, for at least 2 hours after taking all rubber grommets, o-rings, and plastic off. I let the throttle linkage slide, because its a pain to put it all back together, with the winding of the springs and all that.

Hi, I am having issues with my TRX350D fuel pump.  It suddenly stopped running so I have replaced all the fuses and cleaned all the terminals.  I have fitted a new pump, fuel cut-off relay and rectifier.  Still nothing!!  The pump runs when attached to a battery.  The engine will start on the choke and the filter fills with fuel but it will  not rev and dies when the choke is closed. I have power to the relay but nothing at the pump black/white wire when cranking the engine.  Any ideas where to go from here would be very much appreciated!!

      Hey I have a 1997 big bear 350 4x4
I replaced the shifter shaft and the shift arm linkage and the rod when I installed them all I was unaware that you had to line the dot on the shifter shaft with the gap on the linkage arm gap put it all back  together and rode it I can't get it to shift in the right gears  I can move the shift cam by hand and goes in different gears but with the shifter shaft in it riding I can't put it in R or N
Anyone know how to line up the shifter shaft and the shift cam s

I WANTED TO UPGRADE THE CARBURATOR ON MY 1992 BIG BEAR 350, SO I ORDERED A NEW CARB FROM EBAY.  ACCORDING TO THE WRITE-UP IT WAS A GOOD FIT FOR BIG BEARS FROM 1988 TO 1996.  WHEN I REMOVED MY ORIGINAL CARB I NOTICED THAT IT WAS DIFFERENT FROM THE NEW CARB MY CARB HAD TWO THROTTLE  CABLES THE NEW CARB ONLY HAD ONE CABLE.  HOW CAN I MAKE THIS CARB WORK ON MY TWO CABLE THROTTLE?

2022 Sector 550, 414 miles on it and the gas gauge reads empty.  I topped off the gas and it didn't change.
There is no fuse that I could find.  No access at the gauge cluster.
Wiring on the top of the tank looks good, properly connected.
Could the sending unit in the tank be stuck or broken?
Has anybody removed the tank lid?  Any tricks?
      Any other ideas?
      Thanks for any help,
      Clyde

From Arkansas. Just bought a 2012 Gator 850i RSX because I could not pass up the price. BUT it has an idle problem. So, to be honest, I joined just to get a service manual. I have a choice: 1)Buy a hard copy: ~$100; 2)Buy a CD ~$35.00; Get a direct download for free posting 10 times; or get a download for $29.00 (subscription). Haven't decided what to do yet.
