Just bought my first ATV and came across this site/forum.
Small issue though. I'm registered through Tapatalk but it doesn't recognize my email on the actual site. Recognizes my username though.
Can't reset my password and can't register. Contacted the admins but no response yet.

New to ATVs, just got 400 Sportsman 4x4, installed new piston and rings, runs great! A few questions. On the "dash" there are warning lights but none work and there are no lables on them. Also there's a couple of switches that I don't know what they are. One is on the headlight cover to the left, a rocker switch, not labeled. Another on left grip labled "override". Can someone tell me what these all do? I would like to find an owner's manual for the ATV but can't seem to locate one. I have the service manual, but no owners or operator manual.

Long story short, I purchased an 86 or 87 ( the last year made) 250sx aTC about 5 years ago. It was in pretty good original condition. A friend helped me clean the tank, carb etc and it started right up. I drove it around a few times and that was about that. It is located in Northern California at a friend’s place and I reside in southern Ca about 500 miles away.
I’m debating going up and retrieving it but I kind of have too many projects to really enjoy it. My rebuild on my 64 Land Rover is gonna tank space and priority.
i was wondering approx value of it as well as if it’s worth transporting down to Southern Ca for a larger market/better price?? If I remember correctly, everything is in pretty good shape, may need new toilets soon.
thoughts ? I appreciate the input.

Being new to this form, I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Chris, and I am currently working at California Hydro Graphics. I use to be an employee at Oregon Hydrographics and also, Waterdog Surface technologies. I decided to go on different endeavors and travel out of my comfort status and take an adventure. Currently California Hydro Graphics is located in Santa Clarita, CA, 2 miles from Six Flags Magic Mountain. With having been in this business since 2005, I am very well educated of the ins and outs of Hydrographics. I will never let a product leave my door, unless i have seen it before shipment, with the upmost, reliable quality and in the same working order it came in the door. So if you're interested in getting some things done, feel free to hit me up, contact information will be below.
I will be showing off some of the things I have done in the other facilities and current. That way you guys can take a look at my resume, so to speak.
Hope to chat with ya guys.
Chris

Hello everyone I'm the new kid on the block. I'm from Monterey County in California and just love the sport. I own an Arctic Cat red DVX400 06'. I usually ride at a place called Hollister Hills in Hollister CA. It's the closes place to go riding. I love the atv tracks it has, some jumps where I get some air and speed and yes go CRAZY.
