I would take the Grizz over anything else if I was going to buy a ute. The power steering is suppose to act like a steering damper in a sense. When you are traveling at low speeds the EPS works at about 90%, as you start to gain speed the EPS works less and less. This is a safety feature so your steering is not super loose at high speeds. The motor is a true power plant. It can move! If you want more torque, look into a V twin model.

I think the EPS is geared towards the female rider. Or it is made for the person who gets arm pump. I think you would be just fine without EPS. The EPS works best on tight trails when you must use 4x4. I'm sure you know that a machine that is locked in 4x4 mode doesn't turn nearly as good as a 2 wheel drive. That is where the EPS shines.
