How do u clean ur atv wen its to cold outside to use ur hose or powerwasher.. and ur atv is covered in mud

Hi, I am glad to say I don't have that problem here, the cold that is. When I clean the quads and Rhino I take a garden sprayer and mix up Simple Green and water. Then I spray everything with it. Let is sit for just a few minutes then hose it off. Then I can hit is with a rag and soap and it comes out great.

down here it so warm i wash my quad with a pressurewasher after every ride.

but i always let the engine get warm before i spray my quad with it. i read somewhere its better than spraying when the engine is dead cold.

but my brakelines have been okay, and never had any problems with the pressure washer screwing up our quads.

I ride it through the creek.

I like your way the best and it sounds fun. I never see any creeks here in the desert. I hope someday to be able to ride other places other than here.

a local car wash here is owned buy a guy that rides with us so we go there and get a deal on the wash ...lol.. we use the hot water then go to the cyclone blow dryer and blow the water off b4 it freezes ... we usually spend 3 to 4 buks with the owners freebies ... and thats washing/drying 2 quads for that cost...

My 2018 Polaris Sportsman engine operation feels jumpy when I ride. It happens when I am trying to keep constant speed and throttle is fixed position. ATV will misfire and feel jumpy. Not smooth..
Idle is good more or less. Will always crank up on first attempt.

I am thinking to start using carbon cleaner.

Any different between the Polaris carbon clean and Seafoam?

      Scrub brushes didn't work.
Pressure washer was able to remove the high spots and leave a nice consistent orange.
Sent the cylinder out for a new sleeve and it came back shotblasted clean.
Wire brush and elbow grease does the best so far, now using drill attachment with wire brush.
What else besides scotch brite pads and detergent is out there?
