well in the summer just some jeans, shirt, boots, helmet, and my chest protector.

but when its cold out i wear long johns, riding pants, underarmour, jersey huge socks, boots, helmet, chest protector, and gloves.

but whether you ride with all your gear is up to you, as long as your helmet is on, its fine in my book.

Helmet and whatever outdoor clothing..jacket, jeans, etc. If it's real cold, I wear a snow suit or ski suit with helmet and heated visor.

When it's snowig...here's ny gear:

Well, it's pretty obvious that this board needs more fast, hard riding, daredevil types like Bot, Wheeler, MWKE, and myself.

One thing I've learned is that the older you get, the longer it takes for those bumps and bruises to quit hurttin.

Not even an Honorable Mention:frown:

You think you get monkey butt after a long ride now...try it in a thong while adding sand in the mix. I foresee some unlucky spouse applying ointment and band-aids!

Wow bot, it sounds like you are speaking from experience...

I bought a shirt at Little Sahara last year that you guys need... it reads>>

Ive got Sand?

In my nose!

In my eyes!

In my ears!

Down my crotch!

up my but!

... and i like it!

I wear helmet, goggles, gloves and boots and sometimes a jersey.

That's what I USED to wear.I got hurt about 3-4 weeks ago and I'm still feelin it.I never went to the doctor;but I think I either broke or cracked a couple ribs, aggravated the rotator cuff on my r shoulder, and pulled/tweaked several muscles all over last time I went riding.I rolled my DVX400 three separate times in one day in the course of about an hour and a half. After Christmas is done I'm planning on getting a bunch of new riding gear as well as new handlebars, different tires, nerfbars & f/r bumpers

No pics or vids-Sorry I haven't progressed that far yet.Yes;it was my first time riding big/steep hills with snow/ice/slush mixture. Both times rolling I didn't have enough momentum to get all the way up and then it caught a tree root and either grabbed traction or shot me sideways in a dugout type trail. The first time I tried to ride backwards down the hill but it got sideways and rolled over me.I think that's when my ribs got hurt when the handlebars stabbed me rolling sideways. The second time it died(I think I might've used too much rear brake going down a hill and killed it)then the wheels locked up and I bailed but it kinda got me that time too. Then after I got stuck and covered with mud I started hurting after I tried to lift the rear out of a mudhole.I said I was gonna call it a day and started back to the truck.I had to go up a hill with almost no runnout space before the hill started. The rear tires caught a root and sent it to 12 o clock and then back over top of me.That was number three;I left the quad in the truck for a couple days after getting home and haven't rode since.I think I'm gonna get some gear before I get back on the horse.

Hi, I am new to  this forum and I am happy to be here.  I purchased a Yamaha 350 Big Bear without a title and I cannot find a Vin number to find out what year it is.  I am hoping someone here can help me identify this atv. I checked on the main frame near the front A-arm left side found nothing.  I checked up near the radiator and found nothing.  Where else should I look?  See image below.

So many things can go wrong, while out riding, even when with others, when getting away from the group! Try to always ride with at least one other person! If your over 50 and ride alone let me know, I'll try to go with you. I know the trails pretty good, up north, around St Helen, Mi. or I'll try to try areas of the state your more accustom to. I know its too cold now, but spring will be here before you can blink an eye lol
I can ride with the slowest dude in the pack, to WOT! Get in touch before season starts for more inf. Thanks, Steve

I am reading the latest ATV Magazine issue and they have a section all on Utilitys. I looking it over and seeing some manufacturer changes I wasn't aware of. Like Yamaha has different versions now of its Grizzly - 80, 125, 350, 400, 450, 660, 700 ? What happened to the Bruin, the Kodiak 400 and 450? Suzuki has a King Quad 450 and 700...
Yamaha page with all those Grizzlys...http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outdoor/products/lifestylehome/home.aspx
I may have to go with that new 700 FI, Power steering... I used to have a Yamaha Kodiak 450 before my King Quad, that's what made me notice this. Also see these Kymco's getting into the picture..
