Good day everyone!
I am pretty new to ATV/UTV/Small engine repairs and would like input on your absolute must-have specialty tools for maintenance and repairs. Aside from the obvious wrenches and sockets, what are some more specialty type tools you use for troubleshooting? I don't plan to open a repair shop or anything, I just do this as a hobby. Looking forward to your responses!
What Speciality tools will be needed besides the flywheel puller to remove and replace a crankshaft in a yamaha 700/550 engine? Is a vertical case crank shaft installer tool needed as well? Any feedback is appreciated
Hi. I just joined the community. I have a sheep farm and use a Polaris 500HO, Polaris 700efi and a JD Gator 825i for different jobs around the farm. I do all the repairs myself so I am sometimes needing some advice and maybe I can be of some help to others as well.
New here but not New to ATVs. Currently own a '94 Yamaha Timberwof 4x4, 94 Yamaha Breeze and a 2000 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4. I've previously owned other Timberwolves, Kodiak 400s, Big Bear 350s, and a Grizzly 660. Hoping to contribute and learn here where I can!
