I've been looking into a trip to the US and thought it would be cool to hit some trails.

Can anyone recommend where would be best to go, both trail wise and quad hire wise, oh and friendly people who'll not give you grief!!?

My problem is I forget the vast distances you guys have, I see 2 places and think it would be good to see both, then realise there's several hundred miles between them! lol

Colorado IMO We have more places to ride without stiff regulations !:yes:And 14,000' mountains

I was only naming spots where you can rent ATVs. Your not bringing your own are you?

Hi Swampcat07, erm no I'll not be bringing my own ATV from England, the excess baggage may be a little much! lol

The best trails in the US are the ones that are free, bring you great memories and leave you tired at the end. No matter if its 10 miles or 1000 miles.

I agree with this statement! The memories stay with you forever! A place Ive been wanting to check out is the Hatfield McCoy Trails. It looks very very well set up and maintained. Its on my list of places to go. Hatfield McCoy Trails - Website

DirtTrax TV also did a show on it. Dirt Trax Television // Video Portal

Wow...I packed a small soft side cooler with an ice pack  at -4 F and inserted my Type K thermocouple sensor inside so I could monitor the temperature without opening.  After 3 hours  the inside temperature was 60  F...OMG!   The ice pack  was solid frozen.   Standard temperature for safe storage is < 40 F.     What I found by asking was that there should be no air space in the cooler.  Packed with Ice preferably ice from connivence store (normally 0 F of less).  Food should take up  short day trip1:1 ratio.
      Good coolers are expensive.

Hi everyone and thanks for reading.
My husband and me are getting ready to host the 2nd Quad Runners event at our nudist campground. The first one (last year) went pretty well with about 20 quads attending and have to say, it was a smaller group, but they made up for their size with the large interest in partying and there was plenty of nudity as the Saturday night went on.
We have decided to host another one this summer, but we are looking for some fun (but safe) riding events. Our grounds are almost all flat and remember we are a nudist campground so many of us are bare as* naked so "slow ride" events would be the best.
Give us your thoughts and ideas and feel free to ask us anything you would like, and we will answer right here in the thread.
Thanks for your help and ride safe.
BTW, let us know what "anything goes" means for this thread section.

      Hi all,

I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).
