i'll tell you what i really enjoy with your vids....

i enjoy your music selections and i like your editing... and of course the scenery

i would like to know what video editing program you have, (as i am getting a gopro cam for the summer)

and thanks again :notworthy:

Thanks Dude !! ... I spend as much time picking a tune as I do editing the video clip. :crash:

Right now, I'm using PowerDirector10 for my editing software. If ya don't have a 64 bit computer, look at PD 9 too.

Both programs will edit HD video. :cheers2c:

If you do not have a newer computer it will be very hard to edit HD. I found this out the hard way. I dropped all that cash on a recorder and then had to go out and buy a new computer. One trip alone places me at about 5 to 8 gigs of data for HD.

Gunny what are some of your file sizes before editing?

Swampy ... I start & stop my video cam about every 10 minutes max. I have a 32 gig card in each camea, I usually video all day long & I've never used much over 2 gig in each camera. :comp10:

But, I have my cameras setup to record in 720p, not 1080p, because 1080p will use a lot more memory on your card. :crash:

thanks swampcat07, i think i'm ok with the computer, 2yo hp quad core/1 tb hd ... i had heard the gopros eat up alot of memory, have a couple 8gig sd cards for my camera, but would definately get a 16gig for the cam. what program do you use to edit your vids?

Oxidized Guy ... I'm not sure what file format the GoPro HD is recording in. Some file formats do take up more space. :brickwall:

The Drift cameras I have record in an .mov file format :woot: ..... If the GoPro is recording in say, an .avi file format, then yes, they will use up a card a lot quicker. :censored:

      Hello there
I'm having a problem finding a quality carburetor for a 1993 Suzuki Quad Runner lt-f 250 2x4. I find a lot that have 3-4 star ratings. And all so far don't have the right throttle Cable inlet at the top. The last one I got 4 star on Amazon has a threaded cable sheath rest that could be partially drilled to work. I would prefer to get one I don't have to modify. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

So we are almost a month into winter and I've been so busy working on my house that up until today, I didn't realize that we just haven;t gotten any real snow yet to warrant putting the plow on my grizzly. So that got me thinking, what are the latest plows out there and what ATV plows are the best? I've got 2 snow plows for my grizzly, a quadboss pile driver atv plow set up and a snowsport ATV plow. They are both a bit dated now and I tend to stick with the snowsport due to ease of use and I just like it so much. So if you have a plow on your ATV, please let us know what it is and post a picture with your atv/plow would be awesome. Would also like to know what you like and dislike about it.
This is back a while when I did a write up on these 2 plows.... in 2009 I got the snowsport and in 2012 I got the quadboss.

Looking to get my kids started, eldest is 8 and youngest 4, think it makes sense to hook them up with ATVs already? Or wait a few more years

      Hey everybody,
Just curious on some opinions on my recent buy. I'm a big fan of the drivetrain and transmission in the Suzuki King Quad 300 and QuadRunner 250 4wd models. I've been wanting one of either model for quite some time, and recently picked up a really nice shape one for 1500. I just wanted to get some opinions on whether you'd be more hesitant to get something this old, if there are newer options that are comparable.
Also just keep in mind this is coming from someone not super mechanical.
      Key factors:
Engine doesn't appear to have any leaks Had to replace the battery for $100, no biggie Front left CV boot is torn (not yet sure if the axle has damage) Starts right up with the tap of the button every time (so far) Idle was a bit low and was shutting off when warm. Adjusted the idle. Now it will only shut off occasionally on a hill if I'm not rolling or giving it gas. Has a Harbor Freight Badland winch with a wireless remote (brand new, tested and working) Has brand new shocks and brakes Shifting gears and changing between 2wd/4wd/diff lock/high/low/super low all seem fine. Rides pretty good, tight steering, takes the bumps pretty good as I have pretty rough trails. Brand new tires Over 2000 miles, that's quite a bit, but it seems well cared for. Plastics are almost all there. It's really only missing a small bit of the black mud flap in the rear. Has minimal stitching in the front, and it's got the usual scuffs. All of the lights work just fine (Neutral, Reverse, high and low beams) Tested the charging system and that works
And I think that's just about all I can think of at the moment. It mostly seems to be complete and all there. I was a little hesitant about getting something that old, as parts are always a concern. Looks like most parts are available, but axles seem to be hard to get if you want something brand new. I really wanted a 2000's model but I couldn't pass up the price.
