  1. Hard storage is the way to go looks nicer and cleaner and some come with padding and there are also padding kits available, getting banged around is what its all about just pretend you are ridding a buffalo. Some of the trails i have been on i cant image it being much different.

  2. I agree with getting from your dealer some things just need to be seen before purchase im all for saving money but for something like this i wouldnt mind paying a little more for something you really like and will have for a long time. Yeah! You might have to get you some looser fitting riding gear but good and thick so briars dont get your legs. I have leather but im not really going to recommend those, they are great for the brush and briars but are hot and not the most comfortable i have ever had on.

  9. The motorcycle accessories (industry) have moved to hard plastics/fiberglass storage. My saddle bags are soft and waterproof. My buddy's new street bike has hard storage all over the machine. He's had experience with soft and hard and much prefers hard. Hope this helps

  10. The hard plastic rear seat / storage would protect the contents better than a bag would; and a bag filled would be almost as high , if not higher, than the rigid plastic one. The best way to find out how easy it is to get your leg over and on to the seat is to try on someones rig with the hard plastic one mounted .. As far as butt comfort goes they do make padded seat ones . I also think when two up riding the passenger would have a little more se3cure perch.

  12. Don't know about the vintage cars, they pulled in while we were taking a break. Was cool to see so I had to take a picture. My vehicle is a Tahoe, it is rated to tow 8,600 pounds (it has the towing package) it handles the trailer with ease. Since the trailer is single axle and under 3,000 it has no brakes, they are optional. The classifications of ATV's is by DCNR so as we say "Its a Pennsylvania thing" Doesn't apply to other states. Class 1 ATV is 50" wide and under 1,000 pounds. (so even some smaller side by sides are classified "1" ) Class 2 ATV is over 50" wide and over 1,000 pounds not to exceed 1,200 pounds. DCNR is doing a major revision to the ATV policy now that this Northcentral Trail is up and running. Connections on this system utilizes township roads and some state routes so there has been "issues" with policy. If you have a light bar over your headlights, it has to be covered to ride the state routes (A PENNDOT rule) There was an accident north of me last month, a woman was riding a side by side heading home, a truck was behind her, she hand signaled she was making a left turn and the driver thought she meant to pass her, the collision was fatal. They don't teach hand signals anymore to get a driver's license in PA. I think one policy update will be a requirement for turn signals for UTV's since its harder to hand signal.

  13. Have a 2018 Sportsman 850 SP with factory 26x10x14 rears and 26x8x14 fronts, and it is now time to replace them. So, is it reasonable to replace all four to now be the same size of 26x9x14? Replace with radials, of course, and at least 6 ply rated. And, can a 27" tire fit on the factory wheels? Thanks for any replys...i know this has been hashed and rehashed so many times, so thanks for all replys, and, yes, this bike has had a literal ton of cash put into it just to get it running again, and still needs some tinkering, but it will be a work bike, it is not a pleasure/recreational bike like it was intended to be... LOL
