  1. Greetings and salutations one and all. I will be the first to admit, I have addiction. My wife tolerates it, and my children love it. I have been building motorcycles and ATV's, ATC's for about 20 years. My children learned how to ride on a 1974 Honda ATC 90 at the age of 3. I average 5-7 motorcycles running at our house at all times, and possibly 3-6 not running. I am more into the older bikes (1969 Honda ATC, 1974 Honda ATC, 1984 Honda Big Red ATC, 1985 Honda TRX 250, 1979 Honda XR 185, 1979 Suzuki TC 100) but recently I purchased a 2007 Suzuki Kingquad 700. Wife loves the Kingquad. My 11 year old can tear down a engine and rebuild a carb without to much issue. He loves working in the shop with me, and riding. 6 year old just wants to ride. Here is WA they are sticklers for having a ORV tag on each bike. And to get one you must have a title. You see now how much of a pain it is to get a title for these old motorcycles. We do most of our riding on state and federal land while camping, so we get to make a good weekend out of it.

  2. Do you really need a title to ride where you want to ride? Here in NJ all you need is a bill of sale or statement of origin if the seller still has it. This is also true for Pennsylvania. I register mine with the PA DCNR. There want either of those documents plus a picture of the Vin number on the machine if you don't have the statement of origin as they run a vin check to make sure it's not reported stolen. They reason why I register in PA is because that's where I ride and I'd rather give them the money where they have public trails and do maintenance on them. I could register in NJ but all they do is take your money and there's really no legal place to ride!

  4. Had to move out of the burbs due to Na** HOA. Was able to buy a house with some land and had neighbors who had grown up riding quads on the land I bought. We went out and remade a ton of trails (~3-4 miles) on it and bought some used quads to ride. Been crazy into just local riding/working on the bikes ever since. (4 months now but totally awesome... wife calls it her happy place activity... to my dismay the other thing moved to the #2 spot...)

  5. I am a 63 year young "Nana" who rode when I was younger, then my kids rode. I still like the breeze in my hair now and then. Mostly I try to keep something around and running for my 5 grandboys.

  6. Yea figured it was out of timing as well but set it tdc then aligned cam marks parell to head cams facing away from each other.. There is only one mark on flywheel. Other marks are lil punch marks about 4 or 5 of them around flywheel..tensioner is working properly so its not jumping teeth..sounds like it sparking at wrong combustion..how would i check to see if its not 180 out?
