  2. So i took a road trip today to look at a Suzuki Eiger! 2006 in perfect condition other then the fact it starts for 30 seconds and shuts down. Its been sitting for about a year in a shed. It has a plow and a winch included!!! Got it for a really good price and all looks good so far. Stay tuned.

  3. Hi, My name is Jesse and I have been lurking around this forum for a few years now. I have a little collection that consists of: 1981 Yamaha DT175 (complete but in boxes) 1983 Yamaha KX60 near mint 1985 Yamaha Badger 80 (latest purchase to fix up) 1986 Honda XL250R 1989 Kawasaki Bayou 300 4x4 2002 Suzuki Ozark 250 I ride the KX60 once or twice a year and then I tear it down and clean it up. Then I put it on a table and clean the rims with Nevr-Dull. I don't have pictures of the DT175 or the badger.

  4. So I was looking at my John Deere today and though, how could I make this cooler. So I tinted the windows. Lol. As I got home I was staring at my Polaris and the wife’s kfx. I thought I would have to replace the crank because of piston slap on the Polaris. Turns out I just had to adjust the choke cable a tad more. Runs great. Why do we have insurance if we only need it sometimes, and that’s questionable. What is the definition of being an adult? You can ask 6 people and get 6 different answers. 5. Thanks @Ajmboy i found it on craigslist. The guy was looking to trade for a motorcycle. He said he did not use it and didn't want it to sit any longer. It starts up but only for about 20 seconds and starts to die off. Its been sitting for a while in a shed. Ive seen marketplace but never use it since i don't really use Facebook. I always get a little crazy after i finish a project like the big bear i just did and start looking for the next project. This one wont need much work so its not really a project but it's something to play with This one popped right up when i looked and the guy got right back to me. Took a lot of back and forth and coordination to lock it down bit it worked out. Im a firm believer in if its meant to be it will be.

  7. @06kfx440 post a pic of your tinted windows! Insurance is like a penalty, because if you use it, you'll end up being fined for using it by having your premiums go up...

  8. The temporary fix is to use the oem boot and zip tie it back on. The right way is to get the right one. Lol. if to much play is in the boot, cut a small enough line to split it but still use it. Then take silicon to patch the hole. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. The lithium battery in that jump starter also delivers a higher voltage and amps than the lead acid one in the quad . It is that higher voltage under load that spins the quad over faster . The CCA rating does make a difference when it is really cold . No matter what the CCA rating is , it is an adventure starting a vehicle when the thermometer is frozen at 40 below. A battery that matches the OEM rating for the machine should start the quad reasonably fast down to about 0 Fahrenheit but after that one with a higher CCA rating will make a bit of difference .

  10. Ok I figured it out. The nut at the bottom of the steering shaft was loose. Good thing they put a pin in to keep it from falling off. I guess I should have looked there before posting this but now if someone else has an issue they can find this post.
