  1. Welcome to Quadcrazy Big E. Nice looking bike for it’s age.   I like older bikes, they are fun to work on without all the electronics.

So you should be able to find a manual in the downloads section of this site.  It’s the tab on the top right side and go down to the download tab and it’s self explanatory as far as looking for your bike.  It should be there or a year close to it.

You must have at least 10 posted items before you can have access to the manuals but you won’t have any trouble doing that as you will find this site pretty interesting as I did. You will wind up asking questions and commenting  on some of the posts maybe helping out the next guy with there problem or just posting some cool pics etc.

So welcome to Quadcrazy and enjoy the bike brother!

  2. Make sure all your bolts are out any tap the sections wit a rubber mallet or a 2x4 small piece. Be gently rough lol

Once the head is separated from the cylinder head:

The cam shaft is out correct? If so you should be able to remove the two bolts on the side of the head that hold the rocker arm in. That will take the rocker arms out and expose the top of the valve where you can get the spring compressor over the valve.

  3. Hello Airborne, welcome to Quadcrazy! You will love this site.

Nice bikes you have coming.  Hope to see some pics soon!

We are from ny and ride in the Catskills area. All wooded type riding.

    Goos luck with the bikes.

    Safe riding!

  4.

Yes, review the video one more time and be aware that the small clips that hold the valve in they can fly off if your not seated correctly.  They are impossible to find once they take flight ! Lol so be mindful of them not falling out when you are removing/reinstalling etc.

Check  the valves for any obvious bends or damage

Make sure you re install the valve back in the same location it came from.

Clean out the port and valve itself of any carbon buildup before putting it back and grease the valve stem as well when sliding it back in.

The old seal pops off and new new on pushed right back on.

    You got this!

  5. That’s a good idea.   The relays go bad over time.   That is a newer bike so I’m a little surprised but anything’s possable.

Ignition switches go bad all the time.  Especially when they are in bad locations.    Polaris was putting them on the right side of the bike in front of the gas tank. Not sure on the outlaw but could be just wet and oxidized inside.
