Well pulled the plug yesterday, it was relatively clean and gapped correctly. The only thing I noticed was that is was not that tightly screwed in. I brushed it clean and put it back in and of course it started right up. We will see how it does... I suppose I just need to get it out and have my son exercise it more

The two times I have had issues once it was warm and once it was cold, but I was inside in the garage and the machine was warm when I tried to start it. I will pull the plug when I can find a few free minutes at home. Thanks

A quick question. My sons 2001 sportsman 90 does not like to start after it has been sitting for about 2 weeks. I have to crank it a large number of times before it will start up. Any suggestions on what I can do so it will start up easier? Everything seems connected correctly and nothing seems loose, I have not pulled the plug as of yet. It is on the to do list.. It runs great once it does start and then I can stop and start it repeatedly with no issue. It's just a bit frustrating with my son waiting to ride and the #$^%@ thing won't start.. We do X-mas eve for about 30 family members in true Italian fashion and wrap up things at mid-night. Fortunately all of the ladies clean up everything before they leave. Although I actually prefer holding it at my house that going to someone elses house. However putting presents together when you are still quite inebriated is...... interesting!

SO-CO and Mountain Dew?? Never thought of those two together.... Now if I just wasn't trying to cut back on my Mountain Dew habit!!

Reminds me of back when I was in college and ran across campus for my am radio shift, pulled the AP newswire and read that going outside should be avoided as it was something like 40 below and breathing air at that temp might freeze your lungs... Froze the gear-box in my truck there too. gear oil eventually does turn into a block when it is cold enough. should have had a block heater but it was college, no-where to plug it in.
