  1. i would say your valve clearances are set wrong... are you sure you are checking your clearances correctly? 450r honda?
  2. i would probably go with clutch side up...
  3. BANSHEE!!!!!!!!!!!! A few bolt on mods and they are super quick... it can be adapted to all kinds of racing, drag, MX, XC, TT dirt track, sand... TONS of aftermarket parts... They made em for 20 years for a reason... parts are reasonably cheap...
  4. thanks... thats the only way to do things is do it your self... i will never take my bike anywhere to get work done on it... why pay someone to work on it when i can do everything myself for free..
  5. how about a little less talky and some more ACTION! shots... lol ill have some more action shots from the dunes after i get back in a couple weeks...
  6. I bought my banshee a little over a year ago and love it, but it just needed a facelift... so im adding some burgard +2+1 a-arms, a +4 axle, stainless brake lines, a new set of 21x12x8 8pdl hauler paddles, and some powder coating... i just got my new +4 axle the other day and decided to put it in... I had my buddy josh powder coat my carrier as well as my brake and sprocket hubs before i put it all together... My a-arms should be here next week but ill have to wait till i get back from my trip to Little Sahara OK to put them on... This winter im tearing it all apart and having josh coat my frame, swing arm, and a bunch of other stuff to round out this project... here are some pics of my axle installed and my new coating...
  7. About as clean as my warrior gets... Cleaned up for the dunes!!!!!! Cleaned and loaded for the car show... look at those pipes shine.... All cleaned up for the Pittsburg State Univesity car show
  8. it would be best if you remove the engine from the bike... and lay the engine on its side...
  9. they are showing a diff part number from the 04-05 to an 06 but i dont know what the diff is... contact your local dealer and they should be able to tell you...
  10. No ive never been to colorado for riding... full time in college and working almost full time doesnt leave much money or time left... we usually make at least one trip to Little Sahara a couple smaller trips...
  11. it would be a pretty major job... if you havnt done any engine work before i would have someone with experience do it... probably the best way to do it would be to remove the head and jug and turn the motor on its right side keeping the crank and transmission shafts vertical... you should be able to remove the case half and replace it without anthing falling out... I have done this with splitting banshee cases and it works pretty well... if you do it i would get a service manual...
  12. here is one of me... around all kinds of sand but i couldnt ride on it
  13. no i just painted it a few months ago... he hasnt been to the dunes with it since...
  14. I i know its out there... there was a nice write up in Sandsport magazine just last month on how it continued to develop and get bigger... its kind of a long drive for us (7 hrs) but i think in a few years when it gets bigger it would be worth checking out...
