  1. yep it was a blast... Im going back with some other friends in may and for sandfest in the fall...
  2. Well some of my friends and went to Little Sahara Dunes for spring break... It was an awesome time and we had awesome weather (highs in the 80's)... I thought i would share some pics... Enjoy!!!! All loaded up and ready to go... We picked somebody up on the way so i hauled a buggy and 4 bikes total... We left on St. Patty's day so i had to have my green... Our camp for the week... JSR Dyno trailer that was parked by our camp... My sister went with us to the dunes for here first time... She had a blast... My buddy rick in his 1835 vw buggy... Our group taking a rest after riding trails... A little roost!! Travis about floping it over trying to roost... Travis learing not to follow me!!!!!! The mother of all roost by me... Me and travis playing in a bowl... Me coming out of the bowl... Me jumping... A few at the drag strip.... This was a cool little rhino buggy that we watched out there... Powered by a 4 cylinder motorcycle engine...
  3. yep do a compression test and that will tell you a lot... make sure you have fire and fuel too.. top end rebuild is easy, it shouldnt take an hour or two... a manual will give you all the torque specs and anything else you will need to know...
  4. I bought this trailer a few years ago for $200 and rebuilt and repainted it and i only have a little over $600 in the whole trailer... its an 18ft with 3500lb axles and brakes on one... My jeep with both of my bikes ready to go riding... It pulls ok but after i get my rock buggy done i will have to get a bigger trailer and a truck... Im going to start looking for a Duramax after i graduate in december... Here is my buddies gooseneck that we took to waynoka last year... doubles as a huge tend... Worked awesome...
  5. Why did you post a pic of yourself sparrows?????!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is an old tire from my warrior that i fixed.... We were in Disney Oklahoma riding trails and i hit the side of a sharp rock and my tire didnt like it... We were only a few minutes into a weekend of riding... A whole card of plugs and some plumbers glue(didnt have any tire glue) and i rode the rest of the weekend without any problems...
  6. So easy even a caveman can do it!!!
  7. go get some tire string and a tire plug tool...
  8. I would try gearing down a tooth in the front... Thats what i had to do with my banshee so i could launch in second when we sand drag... there are a few factors that could be messing with your power band... What paddles are you running, how tall andhow many paddles do they have? I went from 20 inch sand stars to 21 inch 8 pdl haulers... Did you have any porting done along with your stroke? It can effect when your powerband kicks in to... you might do some research on your pipe, they are built for different powerbands too... I have CPI's on my banshee and they are high rpm pipes but they scream when they get up there...
  9. at least its a YAMAHA... lol Too bad its not a 2 stroke...
  10. The Little Sahara in Waynoka Oklahoma is my favorite place to ride... Here is a pic of me throwing some roost in the sand... We are headed back there next tuesday for spring break!!!!!! woot!!!
  11. They seemed to work really well... they felt more ferm but i dont know if that was from going from rubber to braided lines or what... i didn't ride hard at all today so ill have to give you a better answer after i ride hard a couple of times... and yes they def look cool...
  12. Well i finally got my +2 arms and brake lines installed... i took it for a ride and even with stock shocks this thing handles awesome... I not going to get in a hurry about buying shocks now if i even get them... Getting tested spring break at the dunes... New dual brake lines... I liked these better than the ones with the T in the middle...
  13. i was riding over to a friends house to go ride... he was in his 97 chevy truck 350 auto and i was beside him on my banshee... on a paved road we were running 55 and we took off... he said he was running 75 and i was still pulling away fast... its a little scary when your tires baloon and grow a couple inches...
  14. here is a picture of a kid that was camped next to us at the dunes last year... We were giving one of my buddies crap that this kid could ride better than him...
  15. heres a couple to scare the mice away At the beach in North Carolina At the bar on my 21 birthday...
  16. Well i finally got my reamer tool to ream my spindles so here is the current sataus of my bike... im going to be going to the Little Sahara dunes for spring break so im going to leave my +6 swinger on until i get back... Ill have my +2 a-arms on by our dune trip... and my new tires not yet mounted up and my new stock swinger ready to go to my buddy josh's for powder coat...
  17. for the most part i dont think it would be too hard... there are a bunch of guys out there swaping in busa 1300's in them so room shouldnt be an issue... some other thing you might think about are wiring and controls (clutch, trottle, shifter).. im sure if you search a little there will be a quite a bit of info out there...
  18. i just noticed something on that website... under the website name it states "The largest distributer of chinese atvs, mopeds, dirtbikes, and gocarts" haha i didnt see that about the tranny...

  21. Well im still waiting on burgard to send me my tool so i can install my arms but i decided to order some more parts... One of my buddys has built a practice MX track and jumping with a +6 swinger isnt all that much fun... i got a stock swinger off ebay and i think im going to cut it down to a -1 or -1.5 to give better handling and jumping... i also ordered a set of kenda mx klaw's in 18 rears and 20 fronts... Ill use this set up most of the time but ill throw my +6 and paddles on when i hit the dunes... hopefully i should get everthing this week...
