  1. well im kind of disapointed in houser right now... After i put my arms on i was greasing them and i noticed when i greased my rear lower left arm that grease squirted out like crazy from between the seal cap and the a-arm. I took it apart and found that when they bore the arms it was bored offset so when the suspension travels it creates about a 1/8 inch gap between the seal and the arm so grease can get out and dirt and water in. I called houser and they told me to ship it to them and they would send me a new one... I shipped it to them last week. I called to see if they had sent my new arm yet and they said they are repairing the one that i had sent in so i probably wont have it for another week... Kind of bad customer service if you ask me... Notice how much material is on one side vs the other side Gap from the cap to the arm
  2. I finally got my lines from houser and everthing is back together... Im running stock shock on the back for now. I still havn't decided on what to run yet, thinking dual rate elka's with rebound. I was told by a few guys with rzr's not to run swaybars on them but it felt like it made the suspension roll to much and made it steer slow so i think im going to hook them up.
  3. dont mess with they dynojet kit... go on fmf website and jet for their pipe... you may have to go a little bigger for having no box lid...
  4. I think the biggest are 100ft or so... There are a lot of trails with big nasty rutted out hillclimbs in them...
  5. Were they running paddles? my buddy put paddles on his rzr last time we went to Waynoka and he can make it up everything...
  6. its not all back together yet... I have a long hot couple of weeks at work and just havnt finished it up yet... My front brake lines are backordered so hopefully they will show up this week...
  7. We all run 91 in our crf250r's and we are running JE 13.5:1... They guy that builds our heads and sold us the parts builds race motors for a living and he said 91 is suficient...
  8. it wasnt too bad.... it will be worth it...
  9. well im not for sure...I think they are jetted a little richer than my warrior was... I was at 148 and i had open air box and full exhaust.... ill do some more looking and c what i can find... What is the stock jetting on them??
  10. nothing on the motor yet... Probably do an exhaust and a clutch and go from there... I dont know if i want to build a motor or go forced induction... MCX express makes an awesome turbo kit that makes these things wild but i dont know if i want to spend that much money...
  11. Also i was running no lid on my air box so that makes a difference to...
  12. I would think it would need jetted pretty close to if you had a pipe on it... my 02 warrior was running a HMF full exhaust and i was running around a 148-150 so probably one or two under that... If i remember i changed the clip position one notch and went one up on pilot jet... I think i still have my jet kit from when i had my warrior... Should be the same carb and jets if you need some... All of this will also depend on your elevation...
  13. thanks... they are a lot of fun and since the new XP 900s came out they are getting more affordable... I was going to go +6 per side but with +4 i can have long travel but still run trails at the dunes and back home...
  14. Well I got started installin my long travel on my rzr this weekend... I got the front all put together minus the brake lines which the wrong ones were sent in my order... the back is apart right now and im wainting on some new cv boot clamps for the back cv's. here are some pics... The kit, Houser +4 Long travel with front elka shocks... Still debating on rear shocks.... Front installed Width before... Width after... Rear as it sets... Waiting for parts... Lots of help from the new shop dog....
  15. you will like the direct shift... I had it on my old warrior and its much better than the stock setup...
  16. Ive had a pair of Thor quadrants for a few years now. Im ordering a pair of Gaerne boots next... A buddy of mine is sponsored by Gaerne and they are awesome boots...
  17. looks good... they always do that kind of start??
  18. didnt stat out on a quad... my first was an old(1975-1976) xr75 Honda dirtbike when i was 7-8 years old... Had a 65 two stroke and then bought my warrior and my banshee and now im back on a bike crf250r...
  19. im with outlander and pony... more of a truck guy, u cant pull or haul anything in a car... 03 duramax with MBRP turbo back exhaust, K&N filter and programmer around 345hp and 520 ftlb to the wheels with one more level on the programmer..
  20. They are just normal 3 inch harnesses used in drag racing, offroad racing ect... They are a lot better than the stock slim seatbelts they have in them... Long travel should be here tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Finally had time to install my HID lights today... I got the kit off ebay from Burke moto pros.. Easy plug and go install, it only took about 30 min to install... You can tell the difference even during the day in my shop with the lights on...
  22. well im going to try it and see how it holds up...
  23. yep they will take a beating and non spillable too... plus i was going to need more power for adding HIDs and a light bar probably later... should be installing my HIDs some time this weekend..
  24. Sounds like its time for a new top end (piston, rings and bore the cylinder if needed)
