Nice vids Brain Guy !! :hurrayc: ... :hurrayc: .... really enjoyed'em !! ...

My buddy and I went track'in last Thursday and it started out sunny and brite. We were commenting to each other how nice the snow conditions where and how good we were gett'in around ... NOTE To Self - NEVER say things that will jinx you later and bite you in the a$$ !! We had lunch & decided we would go out to "Baldy Ridge" ... we were hav'in a blast play'in the open meadows when my buddy started over this hill & down into a small gully ... NOTE To Self - Always Make sure HE makes it before you follow !! ... as I started following him down thru this gully and as he started up out of it, he started sinking, sliding sideways downhill ... and I made a fatal mistake ... I slowed down ... as he was lucky enough to get back on top of the snow ... I now had broke thru the crust ... and I was stuck. My buddy almost got stuck again, only this time in front of me ... but some how he made it out of that predicament ... went up the hill and got back behind me. Now the work started ... digging & winching. I used all 65 ft of tow strap I had & about 35 ft of his winch cable .... then some more digging .... some more winching ... more winching ... well, you get the picture ......... after about 2 1/2 hrs later ... I was on the hill top with my buddy and we were rolling the tow straps back up ... Whew ... now I'm thirsty too !! Here's a couple photo's of the days ride and my current exercise program ... ...

I wanted to try out a new transition style. So I put a small video together of some of the track'in video clips so far for this 2012 - 2013 Season. This new process is pretty time consuming … it took me about 3 hrs to put together this 4 1/2 minute video. Not sure I’ll use this transition method a lot, but who knows … I kinda like it. I think there are 4 instances of it ... where it “Flickers” between clips. Hope you enjoy the video. Well, I got the floods first thru a contest. I WANTED Spots, but they only offered the lights in the Flood pattern for the contest ... therefore, I went with Spots for the bars. And so far, I'm pleased. And trust me, the video doesn't do the lights justice ... or the Spots ... much better than it looks in the video's ... and I can still spread out the pattern (lights) if I want. ...

I finally got my Rigid Lights mounted. I mounted the Dually’s on top of the front bumper and the SR-M’s on the handlebars using PIAA 360 Universal mounts. Those mounts allow a guy to mount the lights onto any unlevel bar 7/8 inch to 1.25 inches in diameter, and then you can level the light mounting surface. And they work great too. :woot: So yesterday late afternoon, I loaded the bike and headed up to my track rid’in area. Had plans to ride up to where those big snow drifts are (they are in some of my videos), but it was snow’in, blow’in like a bast …. Ah …. The wind was howl’in & it was real foggy too … so I headed back down to Ant Flats Road to do my night ride test. :drivingc: WOW !! These freak’in lights are FREAK’IN AWESOME !! :partyc: I’ve NEVER enjoyed night rid’in before, but I can see (no pun intended) that I’ll be do’in more of that now. :seeyac: Had a great time out on Ant Flats Road, saw a couple Snowshoe Rabbits and ran into the guy groom’in the trail for the sledders. :cheer: Funny how much colder it gets when the sun goes down …. :shock: Here’s a short video of my evening ride … Enjoy !! Decided to head out to the mountains and go for a ride yesterday (23 Jan 013). My buddy and I wanted to get out of this valley inversion we’re in and get some fresh air. :coolgleamAc: The weatherman said it was SUPPOSE to be sunny with a storm coming in on the 24th … but it was very cloudy and dark, as you’ll see in the video. And no, I didn’t try and adjust the light settings of the cameras. Should have I guess … OH WELL !! :wasntme: I also was trying out some different camera mounting options. Gonna have to do some adjusting it appears. The sun did come out later in the day, however, I wasn’t tak’in any video at that time. Yeah, none of these guys have had the tracks very long ... this season is all & like I mentioned (if I did), the Arctic Cat guy just got his, so this was his first ride out ... and, from what I'm told, he is always hav'in electrical issues with his Cat. Oh, and the sled guy ... he was cold sober !! Yeah, even funnier !! ...
