  1. Hey, how fast will it go ?? What kinda fuel mileage do you get ?? Do you have a fuel programmer on it yet ?? Hey ... I'm just ask'in all the stupid questions everyone asks when someone gets a new bike ... so why not ask them about your Golf Cart ?? Man, that thing is shiny !! Ever had it out of the garage ?? WHAT ?? ...
  2. FINALLY !!! ... seem to have the forum issues worked out so FINALLY I could watch these video's !! Looks like fun YoKo Loco Guy !! :hurrayc: THANKS for shar'in !! :cheers2c: ...
  3. So far, everything is working great. I was even able to upload a couple video's just now with no hangups or problems. Can't seem to get my photo's to change or update on my garage page, but that's no biggie right now. (& that is probably something I'm doing !!) So all is good. ...
  4. Didn't do the Blacklist Check, HOWEVER, this morning, I'm able to navigate the forum like old times. Made some changes to my profile page, added a couple photo's to my photo page, all with no issues or hangups !! Still checking other items, but everything seems to be working great. ...
  5. Not sure this is gonna post cause I've been hav'in posting issues ... but here goes ... Took a ride out to the west desert and rode part of the Old Pony Express Route. Rode out to Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge which was about 67 miles from where I parked the truck. So I did a little over 134 miles, most mileage I’ve EVER done in one day ... so I guess I can't really get on anyone anymore for do'in that kinda mileage in one day ... However, the road is a good graded dirt road & I was able to ride between 35 and 45 mph all day. I could have gone faster, but I had a shimmy in the front end at anything above 45 mph. And because I was hav’in to much fun to balance out the air pressure in my front tires, I just stayed under 45 … and never thought about it when I did pit stops. I also wanted a fairly flat smooth road because I wanted to set my Speedohealer for my 27.5 inch Pit Bull Growlers. (Corrects speed and mileage for track use and for running larger than stock tires) Saw some antelope, some deer and more freak’in people than I could deal with. BTW, when I drove thru the Fish Springs area by the water, the freak’in bugs where bad … got all over my glasses, under my glasses & into my eyes, good thing I ride with my mouth shut !! … and why anyone would want to live out there is beyond me. Saw lots of cool country and lots of other side roads, so I need to go out there & do some exploring … before it gets to warm !! But it was a great day. Hope you enjoy the “Fast Paced” vid and make sure you watch it at 1080p. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Y6bCiEQLh0]24 Apr 2013 - Pony Express Route Ride - YouTube[/ame] ...
  6. Well, it's still happening. After I made the above post, I was able to go the forum page, but when I clicked on the Picture and Video Forum, it just sat there. I had to close the web page, waited for my computer to go to sleep, and then was able to come back to this page ... now to see if I'll be able to post this info ... ...
  7. OK, did the DNS flush & ran the Tracer again, here's what I got. And I'll see if I can go from page to page after I post this. ...
  8. WOW, it takes me forever to get the forum to work. I've been try'in to respond to your comments for a few days now .... and THANKS Quadnut. I've been out twice now since I installed these latest mods & all I can say is ... I'm a very pleased Guy !! Love the Elka's ... glad you like'em too ...... Ya Bast%$# !! WOO HOO !! ...
  9. OK, I'm gonna try another post ... and here's the answers to your questions ... I'm using both IE9 & FireFox, I've cleared my cookies several times. And if this works, here's the tracer results. I've done this four times, & every time, it starts timing out about the 12th ping ... and at the 30th one, it closes. Password to this photo is GunnyE9
  10. Well, I've been try'in to make a post for three days now ... no luck !! And NO WAY can I PM you ... the web site times out. Let's see if this one goes thru ..........
  11. Hey, for last couple weeks I've had issues posting a reply or posting a thread. Any ideas ?? It's taken me all day just to get this posted ........ HELP !!!
  12. Been busy the last little while finishing a bathroom for the wife while the dealer did some work on my Can-Am. Before you say, "What the hell did ya take it to the dealer for ??" ...... let me finish my "What Have YOU Done for Your ATV Today ??" report ....... When I took the tracks off, I noticed both the front and the rear diff seals were leaking and there a pin hole in the front inner CV boot down inside one of the boot creases ... so, after talking to the dealer (who BTW, seems to ALWAYS treat me right) said he could have it all fixed in a couple hours once he had the parts in hand. So I took it in and first, he ordered two diff seals right ?? ... Well BRP in their infinite wisdom, thought that must be a mistake & only sent ONE seal .... so after the other seal comes in they start the work and when the pull the front axle to change that boot .... the CV joint fell apart !! They said they had never seen that before, there was plenty of grease in the boot, so ... ?? ..... Anyway, they ordered a new one .... under warranty !! ........ Now is THAT cool or what !!?? .... So I wait a few more days to get my bike fixed ... and in the mean time, I had been ordering stuff !! First, I bought several 15 ft rolls of the DEI Titanium Header Wrap and Re-Double-Wrapped my header pipes. The old DEI header wrap was 2yrs old & it just kinda fell apart and came off in pieces and some had just burnt away too. Next, I had heard about a "High Performance Water Pump Impeller" for the Can-Am's but I could NOT find out where to buy one. After about a year of searching, I found out they're made in Czechoslovakia. I contacted the guy but he didn't want to send just one because he said shipping would be expensive. Then I found a guy who has been making frames for that guy & said he would order a batch next time he did a shipment ... but I have no idea when that would be. So, asking around again and making some more phone calls, I found a performance shop in Canada that had some ... it was a lot more ... but I ordered one anyway. This impeller is suppose to move 40% more water. And you might ask, "Did I Really Need It ??" ....... and my reply is, "What a silly question !!" After taking the stock plastic one out, I noticed some of the vanes look pretty beat up. Not sure if that's the way it was new, or if the heat was breaking it down ?? While my bike was down, I spent some time talking with my dealer about suspension and shocks. I told him I really wanted to get some Elka's, but didn't want to spend a ton of cash. He told me he was a dealer for Fox shocks already and he would call Elka to see what it would take to become an Elka shock dealer as well. So, two days later, he gives me a call and told me was now a dealer for Elka shocks and that he would give me a good deal if I wanted to order a set. So I make a mad dash down to the dealer & order a set of Stage 2+R's. And boy, did he give me a GREAT deal !! And with these shocks I knew the Rubberdown Lift I had wouldn't work (at the rear anyway), so I ordered a Highlifter Lift Kit. After all that work, I greased it, changed the tranny and engine oil & filter. Now all I have left to do is install the skid plates, gas her up ........ AND GO FOR A RIDE !! :partyc: ...
  13. THANKS Guys ... glad you still enjoy the vids I put together !! I put my Pit Bull Growlers back on today & I will say, I'm look'in forward to do'in some round rubber rid'in !! :partyc: Only thing is, this time of the year here ... the mud is a clay mixture that is like real sticky cement !! ........ but I HAVE TO RIDE .... so I just deal with it !! :toetap05c: Can't wait to get some maintenance things done so I can get out & feel the wind in me face again !! :woot: ...
  14. Dang ... and I thought I was special when Joy sent me a message !! Now I find out she (or he) will play with anyone of you jokers !! My inner child is crushed !! WHAT ?? ...
  15. Went rid’in yesterday (12 Mar 2013), had the best snow conditions this year :hurrayc: ... however, because our weather has turned off warm, I figured this will be the last track ride of the season. Now, as you’ll see in the video, there’s lots of snow on top at 8500 to 9500 ft. However, its 15 miles from the staging area to the trail were we ride, play & sometimes, practice digg’in ourselves out of bad situations. :coolgleamAc: But it’s the lower elevations where we begin our rides that are melting so fast. :toetap05c: The staging area where we unload the bikes is at 7200 ft and yesterday when my buddy and I returned to the truck it was 55 deg F. On the return trip to the truck, the last couple of miles or so of the groomed trail was slushy & wet & there were some spots that were almost bare of snow. There are two other ways to get to the high country, but one trail is already muddy & the one we took yesterday will be bad in a day or two. I must not have been the only one thinking this way because I’ve never seen so many sledders in the middle of the week enjoy’in the snow. We saw lots of deer, a few moose & we came upon this skunk way up on top that was busy trying to get at something. He didn’t pay us no mind what so ever … however, I wasn’t get too close … I’ve been sprayed before & let me tell you … that smell will ruin the inside of nice truck !! … not to mention make you lose your lunch !! :vommit: Oh yeah, did I mention we had a FREAK’IN BLAST !! :cheer: Here’s a 7 minute video of the 6 hour, 50 mile ride we did. I’m trying out some new video editing software. This video was produced using Corel VideoStudio X6 and it seems to have some nice features. Hope you enjoy it.
