Close. I paid $600 for the front & rear fenders, gas tank cover & 4 fender flares. I then had to buy some new decals & heat shielding. :bannana_guitar: Factory camo fenders alone where either $1300 or $1900, can't remember. :shock2: A sport bike would be cheaper of course. But remember, with the Hydro-dipping you can get "CUSTOM" fenders .... :cheer: ... :cheer: ...

When I had my Grizzly, I had the fenders Hydro-dipped. :partyc: Had it for 2 or 3 yrs like that before I sold it. It held up great ... except if you scrapped the fenders hard up against rocks, like at Moab ... but even then, it looked way cool. :woot: Check out these photo's ... :seeyac: ...

We had just had 3 days of storminess & the mountains got some good snow .... along with the storms we had lots of high winds. So my buddy and I decided to “Go Track’in” !! :cheers2c: At the elevation we had decided to ride (7200 ft), I was expecting 8 to maybe 12 inches of fresh snow ... WRONG !! ... on the ridges it wasn’t too bad ... but any low spot or East facing hill it was DEEP !! Had it coming up over my front bumper & my box was pushing it in some places. My buddy told me I was piss’in him off !! Cause I was pretty much go’in any place I wanted ... and he was gett’in stuck !! :toetap05c: After the stuck in the video ... where we hurry up & dig him out, we decided to go back to the main road/trail. It was still blown over with soft snow, and we made a couple side detours ... After about the fourth time my buddy got stuck, he just stayed in my tracks. And then my belt let go. Guess I worked it too hard !! :dammit: I also figured with the clutching I have & the smaller drive sprockets on my tracks, running in high was A-OK !!! ..... should have known better in this really deep & soft snow ... cause I think the belt just got to hot & let some of the inside gogs go .... DAMN IT !! :brickwall: And even THAT wouldn’t have been too bad .... but three weeks ago, I took the spare belt & tools out of my box !! Took 2 1/2 hours to tow me 3 miles ... Beides having my fenders Hydro-dipped in Vietnam Tiger Stripe, I fabbed up this mod for my Grizzly .... Dual Remote Oil Filters and an Engine Oil Cooler. :partyc: .... Here's a few photo's .... ...

Swampy ... I start & stop my video cam about every 10 minutes max. I have a 32 gig card in each camea, I usually video all day long & I've never used much over 2 gig in each camera. :comp10: But, I have my cameras setup to record in 720p, not 1080p, because 1080p will use a lot more memory on your card. :crash: Oxidized Guy ... I'm not sure what file format the GoPro HD is recording in. Some file formats do take up more space. :brickwall: The Drift cameras I have record in an .mov file format :woot: ..... If the GoPro is recording in say, an .avi file format, then yes, they will use up a card a lot quicker. :censored: ...

Thanks Dude !! ... I spend as much time picking a tune as I do editing the video clip. :crash: Right now, I'm using PowerDirector10 for my editing software. If ya don't have a 64 bit computer, look at PD 9 too. Both programs will edit HD video. :cheers2c: ...

Haven't been out on the tracks for a little over a week .... so last nite, I decided, Enough was Enough !! ... I was go'in rid'in .... Rain, Snow or Shine !! Turned out to be a pretty darn good day. Cold with a stiff wind, snow'in in the morning & the sun came out later in the afternoon ... and the snow was pretty darn great for track'in ........ What more could a guy ask for I ask ya ?? Took a few pics .... these drifts are the ones I was play'in on in the video dated 12 Jan 2012 ... they've grown a mite, don't ya think !!?? Sure hope you guys ain't gett'in tired of all the vids I've been putt'in up ... but I've been rid'in and just wanta share the fun !! :seeyac: Went out yesterday with my Polaris buddy and we had a blast !! ... HOWEVER ... all that new snow we got a week ago has not settled much. Dang we got stuck a lot !! :bangheadc: But I don't feel to bad cause we talked to some sledders & they said said they were stuck a lot more than we were ... :svengoc: I think I have the Canned Ham dialed in for the tracks too. That "Bad To The Bone" machine was runn'in SOOOO good !! ... My buddy told me I was piss'in him off all day !! :wasntme: And it started early too ... notice at the 1:03 minute mark how I just pulled out around him & went up thru the trees where he had just been stuck ... and that's not slo-mo either, I had it in Low & just walked up thru there ... if ya look, you can see my speedo & it reads 2 mph !! :poke: Then he tried to follow me & got stuck again .... :smilielol5c: I do think part of the problem for him there was his Polaris with tracks is about 4 inches wider than the Canned Ham due to the wheel spacers he has to run ... Well, after five days of storms in Them Thar Hills, and the promise of sunshine today ... I decided to head up & play in the snow :hurrayc: ....... HOLY MOLY !! ........ There's no freak'in bottom to it !! :shock2: I got two miles from the truck & spent the next hour or so gett'in my daily exercise ... DANG !!! :wiggle: In the video, at the 1:02 minute mark, watch how I almost get stuck right there ... it was like that all day .... BUT I HAD A BLAST !!! And as you'll also see in the video, I get out into an area WITH NO TRACKS !!! :partyc: ... I'm really not sure where all the sledders where, cause there was lots of'em out today !! ... and you could tell they were hav'in a heck of time in this bottomless snow too !! Anyway guys ...
