Last weekend we had a pretty good storm go thru & the mountains got a pretty good dusting of snow. So a friend & I decided to go see how just how much snow was up there. :autoc: When we got to where we unloaded at 0830, it was 24 degs Fwithout the wind-chill ... when we got back to the truck six hours later, it had really warmed up ... all the way to 28 degs F .... and with the wind-chill it was probably around zero degs F. :partyc: There wasn't as much snow as the Snotel site reported, but we were lower in elevation. There was about 16 to 24 inches ... except where the wind had blown the snow away ... which also made for some fun drifts to play in ... and on the East side of hills, the snow had blown in making it real soft & deep ... more fun !! .... The wind was howl'in all day & the snow was blow'in around too ... so there were no bugs, no dust ... AND NO PEOPLE !!! :ola: ....... it was AWESOME !!! The new Can-Am did real well with the tracks & I had a blast ... :woot: The guy I went with had a 700 Grizzly & he got around great as well. Kinda sucked to have to come home ... :nopityc: Make sure ya change the video view to 720p ... it'll look much better !! Yup ... another video from Gunny ... get use to it, winter is coming & then I'll be posting even more ... :comp10: Went for a ride last Tuesday .... the weather was great ... windy, cold, rain, sleet, a little snow, sun, mud ... no bugs, ... more people than I figured, but it is the Elk Season ... so .... but all & all, it was a great day !! Just put a little video together so ya could see what a great time I had while you were at work ...... OOPS ... I didn't mean to rub it in ............. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!! .............. Went for a ride yesterday with my two brothers & the wifes !! ....... Snow'in to beat the band when we started but the sun came out later in the day ....... what a GREAT Day !! We got up to 10,400 ft ...... I got surprised & got stuck in a 3 ft drift ... had the wife get off the bike & I was able to drive out ... so no winching this day !! Not sure Big Guy ... all I did was that one "Page Refresh" yesterday, checked to make sure my Java was up-to-date ... and now it works both in IE & FireFox ... :comp10: And when it comes to computer magic ... I don't ask a lot of questions ... :wasntme: ...

This awesome place is in the state of Utah, in about the middle of the state. You take Hwy 89 to Gunnison, turn East and go to Mayfield ... then out of Mayfield you go 18 miles up 12 Mile Canyon. (Don't ask) :drivingc: We stayed at the USFS Gunnison Flat Camp Ground at 10,100 ft. :cheers2c: ...

Just returned from a week long trip of AVTing in central Utah ... WHAT A FREAK'IN BLAST !!! It rained six of the seven days & a couple days it was just a plain gully washer of a soak'in !! ... but NO BUGS !!! My youngest brother, his wife & I where the only ones on this trip. My wife wasn't ready to give her new hip the abuse of rid'in all day long for six days ... my other brother & his wife backed out at the last minute ... damn their mangy hides !!! Well, in prep for a week long ATV trip starting Sunday, I took the CVTech primary clutch off my Can-Am and Installed a QSC primary clutch today. :coolgleamAc: I then took the stock driven off, took off the stock spring & helix & installed a 650 helix & a stiffer spring. This was recommend by QSC for the altitudes I ride ... :cheer2: And then for Sh*ts & Grins ...
