I have a 1996 king quad lt-f4wdx and have oil leaking from the rear axle assy at the seal behind the shaft from the front axle to the rear axle! can this seal be replaced w/o doing major surgery,taking the rear assy completly apart. thanx jim:aargh:

How in the world do I remove rear brake pedal. Can't find in manual and it is basically siezed up. Any ideas? Thank you

Badley warped, bent and marked up rear rotor. My 1987 Warrior's rotor is about an inch larger then the ones readily available. Is there an easy way of moving the caliper in to fix the problem. Any body make the larger rotor at about 9-5/8" outside diameter for Yamaha Warriors.

86 225 yamaha moto 4 rear tires locked up. My son was riding in the have wet snow and the rear end lock. hoping brakes moved to rear dif. not it ether took the clutch apart not them. I can get the axle to turn with a pipe wench anybody have any thoughts on what it could be? thanks Dan

Is the original rear shock for a 88 warrior the same as a 86 try-z ?

I am trying to rebuild a moto 4 rear end. I have the rearend out now all of it from the drive shaft is sitting on the table. My question is does the axel come out before the rear end comes off or how does it work? From what i can see there is no way to get the rear end off and/or apart without taking the axel out but i may be missing something. Im trying not to mess anything up because i dont have alot of money to spend. Any help from you guys would be great. Thank you.

i took apart the rear disc brake (cover,disc,caliper,pads) and when i was putting it all back together, i noticed the disc on the spline was not secured by a lock ring or anything. i looked at schematics and there is nothing holding that disc on. is this right? seems like a poor design to me ....

Looking for a tire that would be good for trail riding at RAC in PA. I would like to have the tires already mounted and looking for the best bang for the buck or nothing too aggressive. Would the stealer be the most cost effective since I wouldnt have to pay for shipping? I already have a set of maxxis razrs on there already and not too happy with them (plus less than half tread left)

My 400ex is about due for new rear tires, but i dont know what kind would be the best for it. Most of my riding is out in the desert, mostly loose dirt and rocks. Iv been looking at all different kinds of tires but just dont know what ones would work out the best..Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

ive put the new pads in but cant get them to go back on rotor because of the mounting bracket...i can compress the bracket in with a c clap,, but it comes out again when i remove clap.... there is still a allen bolt in the calibur that looks like it is connected to the bracket still... am i supposed to take the bolt out also, is that why the bracket will not stay compressed so it will fit on the rotor? i have tried to remove that bolt but it is extremly tight....

Wanting to see if rear ends are interchangeable . what info would be needed? Thanks

I thinking of changing rear tire size to 20x11x9 from 22x10x9, does anyone recommend a sproket size change or just leave it alone. I like having low and mid range more than top end speed, but do not mind running across and open field sometimes too. Thanks
