Fly over NYC

Recommended Posts

Today the blue angels and the thunderbirds flew over NYC as well as many other parts of the state. I shot up to the roof today to snap a few pics and videos.  I go to the air show every year so seeing fighter jets is not new to me but seeing them over the big city is pretty cool.

I attached pics and videos. Hopefully you can see the videos as well. Anyone else get to see or take pics?

Thanks @George Henry! To be honest most of us on the roof have lived here our entire lives and we all noticed how clear the air is. I am assuming that it's because the nation is basically shut down and no smog filling the air.  The visibility yesterday was amazing.

Same in Los Angeles from what I read. Less vehicles driving.

@Ajmboy it really does not bother me being up that high.  In the second set of pictures I'm literally standing on the corner edge of the building.  There is scaffolding not to far below or i would not have done it.   I still cant believe how clear and good the visibility was. We haven't seen that in a long time.

Ya know the funny thing is all the sh** like this up high or even 1000 feet below the surface does not bother me one bit but small things like ticks and fleas freak me out! And I'm  always in the woods!!! But when i get home its a full body search.  Oh and cotton ball's..... I absolutely cant touch cotton balls. Freaks me out!

I have been exploring all the options available, so many, its hard to choose. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Honda Pilot, Subaru Outback, and Kind of looking at the Outlander, although its a little small,  the new one is nice looking. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or gripes with any of these rides. I have driven Jeeps for the past 25  years and they have been great, but their price point has gotten to high. Expieriences good or bad would be helpful. Thanks!

I’m looking for a top end kit for a Yamaha. I would like to see how well the engine runs before spending $6-$7 hundred on oem. Niche has complete kits from $1-$2 hundred.  Anyone have experience with Niche or similar Chinese companies?

If you're new here, tell us who you are, where you're from and what you ride!!!
Lets get to know each other a little better shall we?
I'm not new to the site, obviously, but...

Hi, I have been around everything with a motor since I was little, and finally purchased more to get my husband, and kids involved. I have 4 quads I will be searching around for information on. I have two 2002 Suzuki LT80K quads, a 1997 Yamaha Timberwolf 250, and a 1996 Kawasaki Bayou 220. I have had different ones throughout the years, and plan on buying another Yamaha Banshee. I plan on trying to learn more about all of them, so I can customize some of them. I know nothing about them besides how to race them, my dad always took care of the rest, but figured it was time for me to learn.
