I'll warn ya.....the main trails there are all dirt roads......but all the side trails are awesome!! All the side trails are all mud!

Nice! Sounds perfect to me. If you've ever heard of Maybrook (which got shut down), that's exactly how it used to be...loved that place...

I run ITP's all the way around. The only Maxxis tires I've ever run are my mx razrs....I have GNCC holeshots on the front and HD's on the back....the HD's are like the best tires I've ever seen, I've run an entire supercross series, indoor supercross series, and harescramble series on them and they're just now getting worn. Plus, all the practice riding and such....they're definitely what I'll be getting at the end of thsi season for next.....

and the GNCC's? My husband and I both run them, they're awesome. I actually have his tires on right now that he ran for his entire season last year....he got new ones this year because of a sponsorship deal, so I took the "old tires" that were used.

ITP's are awesome, we've never had problems with them!!

Flying,

Bringing back the memories of just the other weekend.

Heads up don't get caught with an ATV in where you took the Pic of the Gorge trail sign. DEC will get very crabby and they put up the no-ATV signs again. When were you up at Tug hill?

I went in august. I loved it. It was so muddy!

I was there 2 weekends ago and it had rained the day before we got there and overnight while we were there. There were a 2 trails we actually turned back from because there was so much water and no-one wanted to be the guiney pig and see how deep they were. :surfing:

Otherwise the MUD was great!

I know 2 places where that happens, we went through both of them earlier this summer, all of the quads went through, the trail in the "playground" across from the Timberview that looks like it it goes into a lake we went through after we talked the guy in our group with the oldest quad to try it first, although we didn't think he was going to make it.

This time we did not go through either one because the water looked ALOT :elvis: deeper and none of us wanted to try first.

They always send me in first. They always send the teen first. lol Its fun tho when i'll water wheelie my way across really deep hole and one of them with some big huge Big Bore will be like "if that lil 450 can make it i can make it'' then they'll try and they wont make it.....its funny!

Ok guys, I am a glutton for punishment! I picked up this 01 2wd Rancher because the plastics looked good on the marketplace. It has been sitting in the guys back yard for 10 years. The original engine blew and they swapped in an electric shift 4x4 engine. 😒The engine is locked up and was full of water. The wiring is hacked where they tried to get it to run and the rear end needs new swingarm bearings where they left it laying on the ground in the woods for 10 years. Has anyone here ever did the engine swap? First thing is to straighten out the wiring and get the engine free to see if I can get it to crank over. I have swingarm bearings ordered and a new ignition switch. So hopefully I can at least roll it around soon. 🤣

My friends KQ 300 starts fine and runs, as soon as you put it in gear and try to accelerate its bucks and farts like crazy, not moving... I cleaned carb and it worked good for 1 day... now back to same problem.... could it be such as a bent valve????

OK long story short....bike was running great no problems and i was back in the woods one day and it stalled .It wouldnt restart ,kept wanting to but it wouldnt.I towed it home.It sat in garage for a week ,i would try starting it every couple days ,it wouldnt. Then one day it fires right up.I kept starting it once a week with no problems. Then after a month same thing just wouldnt start.I but a battery tender on it for a day, then it fired right up,problem fixed i thought. So i turned it off and tried again and it just turns......IM going crazy over this thing, the battery is good.....
      Any help would be super

I have a meerkat50 that has a pedal shifter but no clutch cable.  This seems standard.  However, when the atv is in neutral, the engine revs like CRAZY and will pop a wheelie if I throw it in gear.  While in gear, it has little to no power.  Pressing on the accelerator doesn't do a thing.  If I turn on the choke while in neutral, the engine dies completely.
      Here's what I've tried:
Replacing the carburetor with a new one.  No change.
Spraying around the connections between the carb and the engine with starter fluid, looking for an rpm change to see if air was leaking into it.  No change.
Removing the throttle cable from the handlebar to see if it was too taut.  No change.
Checked timing-- top dead center seems to match on the flywheel and the cam.  Although this depends on the direction I rotate the engine.  The only way to rotate it without the nut coming loose is to rotate it clockwise.  When I do this, the engine timing seems right.  But there is enough play in the chain that when I let it go slack, it may be out of time.  This is likely normal, and I can't imagine this would be enough to cause this problem.
Any thoughts on what would cause an insane idle with no power under load?
      I really need help.
